A long time ago, there was a legend about a mansion in a small town surrounded by mountains.
The legend said that anyone who entered the mansion would never return.
Even though many people tried to enter and see what was inside, none of them succeeded.
The doors were locked, and even though they tried to open them, they couldn't.
The windows were also locked, and even though they tried to break them, none of them succeeded.
It was as if the mansion was being protected by something or someone.
Many people believed that the mansion was indeed cursed, so they didn't even try to enter it.
They stayed away from it, and even though it was in the middle of the town, it was as if it was on a different planet.
One night, I decided I would try my luck.
I wasn't alone.
I had my friends with me: Morgan, Rex, Gideon, Livvy, Lana, and Ash.
All of us were 17 years old, except for me.
I was 18, but only by one day.
I had turned 18 years old one day before, but none of them knew that because my birthday was on a Sunday, and we didn't go to school that day.
I didn't tell any of them about my birthday because I didn't want them to make anything for me.

I watch Morgan step forward onto the creaking porch boards, her hand trembling slightly as she reaches for the brass door knocker.
The ancient metal fixture is green with age, shaped like a snarling lion's head.
The sound of the knocker against the door echoes through the mansion's empty halls, impossibly loud in the still night air.
We all freeze, holding our breath.
A cold draft whistles through the gaps in the mansion's weathered boards.

Livvy grabs my arm, her fingernails digging into my skin.
Ash takes a step back, nearly stumbling on the rotting steps.
And then, without warning, the knocker moves on its own, lifting and falling three more times with sharp, deliberate thuds.
The door creaked open, revealing nothing but darkness beyond.
I step forward, my phone's flashlight beam cutting through the gloom.
The floorboards creak beneath my feet as I enter first, followed closely by Morgan and Livvy.
Ash lingers at the threshold, his long hair whipping in the wind.
"Ladies first?" he jokes, but his voice cracks.
That's when it hits me - he's our only male friend here.
The Billionaire's Haunted Mansion
Morgan rolls her eyes and grabs his sleeve, yanking him inside.
The door slams shut behind us with a thunderous bang, making us all jump.
Ash yelps and clutches Morgan's arm, no longer trying to maintain his cool facade.
As our eyes adjust to the darkness, an odd feeling settles over me.
The air inside is musty and stale, but there's something else too - a strange, almost imperceptible purple glow.
I can't quite place it, but it's there, shimmering at the edges of my vision.
Morgan and Livvy are staring intently at Ash, who's still clinging to Morgan's arm.
Their expressions have changed - they're no longer fearful or excited, but rather... hungry.
I feel it too - an inexplicable pull toward Ash, as if he's suddenly become the center of our universe.
Ash shifts uncomfortably under our collective gaze, his long hair falling across his face.
He takes a step back, his eyes darting between us.
"Why are you all looking at me like that?" he asks nervously, his voice cracking again.
His back hits the wall, and Morgan reaches out to touch him with an unsettling smile.
The Billionaire's Haunted Mansion
I move closer, my steps deliberate.
The purple glow intensifies around us, casting an otherworldly light on the scene.
The air feels thick and heavy, as if it's pressing down on us.
Morgan pins Ash's wrist against the wall while Livvy blocks his other side.
Ash's breathing quickens, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he looks between us with wide eyes.
"W-what are you doing?" he stammers, trying to shrink away from our touch.
I reach out and run my fingers through his long hair, making him flinch.
The touch sends an electric thrill through me, feeding the strange hunger growing inside.
When I grab a fistful of his hair and tilt his head back, exposing his neck, he lets out a small whimper.
The Billionaire's Haunted Mansion
I keep Ash pinned against the wall, my grip tight on his hair.
The purple glow intensifies, casting an eerie light over the scene.
Suddenly, a soft giggle echoes through the mansion, making us all freeze.
We turn our heads toward the sound, trying to locate its source.
That's when we see her - a small figure emerging from the shadows.
She's dressed in a ragged clown costume, with a painted smile and eyes that seem to bore into our souls.
The girl tilts her head, staring at us with unblinking eyes.
Ash's whimpering grows louder as she takes a slow step forward, her gaze fixed on him.

I keep Ash pinned against the wall, his hair gripped tightly in my hand.
Morgan and Livvy stand frozen beside us, their eyes fixed on the girl.
The purple glow intensifies, casting an eerie light over the scene.
The clown girl tilts her head, her painted smile seeming to grow wider as she stares at us.
She takes another slow step forward, her unblinking eyes fixed on Ash.
He whimpers again, his breathing growing more erratic.
The air feels heavy with anticipation as we wait for the girl's next move.
Ash's eyes are wide with fear, his pupils dilated in the dim light.
He tries to pull away from us, but we hold him fast.
The clown girl takes another step closer, her movements deliberate and slow.
She's so small, but there's something unsettling about her presence.
Suddenly, Ash breaks the silence.

"Oh shit, oh fuck, no, get this bitch yeeted!"
Morgan's voice cuts through the tension, sharp and commanding.
"Who are you?" she demands, her eyes narrowing at the clown girl.
The girl pauses, her smile never wavering as she replies, "I'm here to collect what's mine."
The Billionaire's Haunted Mansion
I tighten my grip on Ash's hair, pulling him closer as the clown girl takes another step forward.
Her smile seems to grow wider, and the purple light intensifies around us.
Livvy and Morgan remain frozen, their eyes fixed on the eerie figure.
Ash's whimpers grow louder, his body trembling against the wall.
I lean in close, whispering in his ear, "Stay with me; we'll face this together."
The clown girl stops a few feet away from us, her head tilting curiously as she watches our interaction.
Ash's voice is barely a whisper, "What does she mean, 'collect what's mine'?"
Morgan's gaze doesn't waver from the girl as she replies, "I think she's talking about you, Ash."
Livvy steps forward, her voice steady but urgent, "We need to figure out why before it's too late."
