A Greek ocean monster that try to kill pontus after being trapped in a cave for years.
Pontus Eriksen
determined, and resilient. Pontus was once a sailor who sailed with his father, but after a storm, he found himself alone and stranded in the cave. He survived by hunting and gathering food, eventually discovering a hidden underwater entrance to the sea. Pontus's life changes when he encounters a sea monster, which he manages to defeat with his wits and bravery.
Captain Eriksen
brave, and loving. Captain Eriksen took Pontus on his sailing journey to teach him the ways of the sea but vanished during a storm that separated them from each other. His disappearance deeply affected his family.
Ceto Eriksen
protective, and strongwilled. Ceto was left behind when Pontus and his father sailed away. She worried about their safety constantly. After Pontus's disappearance, she became ill with grief but eventually recovered. Ceto is overjoyed when Pontus returns home safely after years of absence.
I never thought I’d make it out alive.
Twenty-two years old and I’d already seen the inside of my own grave.
Or at least, that’s what it felt like when I was trapped in that goddamn cave for all those years.
Years!
Can you believe it?
The worst part is that no one was even looking for me.
They all just gave up, gave me up for dead.
I was a fucking ghost, and all because of one stupid storm that tore my father from my grasp and left me alone to sink or swim.
Literally.
But I swam.
And when I couldn’t swim anymore, I floated, and when I couldn’t float anymore, I grabbed onto the first thing I saw and prayed like hell that it would keep me afloat and save me from the jaws of the hungry sea.
It did.
The next thing I knew, I was washing up inside a cave, praying like hell that someone would find me before the water did.
The water didn’t, but the darkness did, and it almost broke me.
It would have broken anyone.
But then something strange happened.
I began to realize that the cave wasn’t just a tomb to be avoided; it held secrets and mysteries within its walls that only someone who had been trapped there for years would have been able to uncover.
