Chapter 1
I found him on a rooftop.
I kicked Carnage hard, sending him sprawling across the ground.
I swung my leg, connecting with Carnage's head, sending him reeling backward.
I swung a powerful kick at Carnage, aiming for his head.
I was out for my nightly run, and I saw the lights of the police cars.
Frank seized the moment, firing a barrage of bullets at Carnage's torso.
When I got there, they were already taking down the yellow tape.
"Who are you supposed to be? A rejected Halloween costume?" I quipped, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
He snarled and countered with a swipe of his tendrils.
The cops were grumbling about some vigilante who’d gotten there first and killed all the bad guys.
Carnage snarled, struggling against the webs binding him.
I dodged, landing another kick to his midsection.
Carnage roared in pain but retaliated, slashing at Frank with his tendrils.
Frank Castle, bloodied but relentless, aimed his rifle at Carnage's head.
I didn’t have to ask who it was.
I shot webs at Carnage's arms, pulling them back with all my strength.
Frank fired at Carnage's legs, causing him to stagger.
Mary Jane watched in horror, clutching her hands together.
"Doesn't matter who he is. What matters is putting him down," Frank said, his voice cold and determined.
"Now, Frank!" I shouted.
There’s only one guy in New York who kills criminals and calls himself a vigilante.
Carnage roared and lashed out, knocking me off balance.
I took off, swinging from building to building, following the trail of dead bodies until I found him.
I shot a web at Frank's rifle, yanking it away from him.
Frank lunged forward, delivering a powerful punch to Carnage's jaw.
Frank moved in, delivering a brutal punch to Carnage's face.
Carnage staggered but didn't fall.
"We don't kill, Frank!" I shouted, my voice echoing through the chaos.
He was sitting on the edge of a roof, looking out at the city.
Carnage laughed maniacally, his eyes glowing with malice.
The wind blew his hair back from his face, and he looked like something out of a comic book.
I quickly recovered and webbed Carnage's arms, pulling them apart.
Mary Jane screamed as Carnage broke free again.
I quickly webbed Carnage's legs, tripping him up.
A dark avenger perched on a rooftop, ready to swoop down and take out the bad guys.
We continued our relentless assault, determined to subdue the monster.
"You fools have no idea what's coming," he taunted, his voice filled with dark amusement.
Mary Jane watched anxiously from a distance, her hands trembling as she clutched them together.
Mary Jane shouted encouragement from the sidelines, her eyes filled with worry and hope.
"Stay down!" I yelled.
Except this wasn’t a comic book, and he wasn’t an avenger.
The sound of approaching sirens grew louder as SHIELD agents arrived to secure Carnage.
"Keep going, Peter! You can do it!" she yelled.
Frank delivered another blow to his head, finally knocking him out cold.
"Frank, we need to talk," I said, my voice tense as I landed on the rooftop.
Carnage growled and thrashed against my webbing.
We secured Carnage tightly with webs, making sure he couldn't move an inch.
One of the agents barked orders. "Secure the perimeter! Make sure he can't escape!"
Frank Castle, the Punisher, didn't turn to face me.
Breathing heavily from the intense battle, I glanced over at Frank.
His strength was incredible, but I held on tight.
I kept my eyes on Carnage, ready for any sudden moves.
He just kept staring at the city below, his eyes scanning the streets like a hawk searching for prey.
Frank took advantage of the opening and landed another punch to Carnage's gut.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Talk about what?" he replied, his voice cold and detached. "How you let them live to hurt more people?"
"You're not getting away this time," Frank grunted through clenched teeth.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
Frank nodded, wiping sweat from his brow. "Yeah, but we need to get out of here before he wakes up."
Carnage roared in fury, his tendrils flailing wildly.
Mary Jane ran over to us, her eyes wide with relief and concern. "Are you both alright?"
I clenched my fists, feeling the leather of my gloves tighten around my knuckles.
Frank glared at me, frustration etched on his face. "You always have to play the hero, don't you?"
One of them caught Frank in the side, sending him sprawling to the ground.
"Someone has to," I replied, not taking my eyes off Carnage.
"Killing isn't justice," I shot back, trying to keep my voice steady.
The SHIELD agents moved in swiftly, surrounding Carnage and securing him with reinforced restraints.
Frank stood up slowly, towering over me like a mountain of muscle and anger.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
I tightened my grip on the webbing and pulled harder.
"We're fine," I assured her, though my muscles ached from the fight. "But we need to move fast."
Carnage struggled and growled but couldn't break free this time.
"And letting them go is?" he challenged, his eyes boring into mine with an intensity that made my skin crawl.
The warehouse was still ablaze behind us, casting an eerie glow over the scene.
"Good work, Spider-Man," one of the agents said as they finished securing Carnage. "We'll take it from here."

I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "Make sure he stays locked up tight."
"Stay down!" I shouted at Carnage.
I shot a web at a nearby building and swung Mary Jane to safety once more.
Frank followed closely behind, keeping an eye on our surroundings.
He snarled and lunged at me, breaking free from the webbing with sheer force.
Mary Jane ran over to me, her face pale but relieved. "Peter! Are you okay?"
The tension between us was palpable, crackling in the air like static electricity.
"I'm fine," I assured her, pulling her into a quick hug. "It's over for now."
As we landed on a rooftop across the street, I took a moment to catch my breath.
I took a step closer, refusing to back down.
I barely had time to react before he was on me again, his claws slashing through the air.
"We need to call for backup," I said, pulling out my communicator.
Frank picked up his rifle from where it had fallen and slung it over his shoulder. "This isn't over. Not by a long shot."
"We don't get to decide who lives or dies!" I shouted, my voice rising with each word.
I ducked and rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding his attack.
Frank struggled to his feet, blood trickling from a cut on his forehead.
I looked at him seriously. "We stopped him today. That's what matters."
Frank nodded in agreement. "I'll keep watch until they arrive."
Frank's eyes narrowed into dangerous slits.
"Maybe you don't," he said, his voice low and menacing.
Mary Jane clung to my arm, her eyes filled with worry. "What if he wakes up before they get here?"
He aimed his rifle at Carnage once more and fired a shot that hit him square in the chest.
He shook his head. "You think this is just about today? There's always another fight waiting around the corner."
I sighed, knowing he was right but unwilling to dwell on it now. "We'll deal with it when it comes."
"He won't," I said firmly. "Not this time."
Carnage staggered but refused to go down.
Before I could respond, a gunshot rang out from below.
Both of us turned instantly, our eyes locking onto the source of the sound.
"We need to hit him harder," I called out to Frank.
The cityscape stretched out before us, bathed in the orange glow of the fire.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
He nodded grimly. "Got it."
Sirens wailed in the distance as emergency responders rushed to the scene.
My heart stopped when I saw Mary Jane standing on the street below, frozen in fear.
She was in the crosshairs of a sniper.
The SHIELD agents loaded Carnage into a heavily armored transport vehicle.
"Backup is on its way," I informed Frank after speaking into the communicator.
I shot webs at Carnage's legs, trying to immobilize him again.
Frank moved in close and delivered a series of rapid punches to Carnage's torso.
"Mary Jane!" I yelled, leaping off the rooftop without a second thought.
As they drove away, I felt a mixture of exhaustion and relief.
He nodded and kept his rifle trained on Carnage's unconscious form below.
We waited in tense silence, every second feeling like an eternity.
Mary Jane squeezed my hand. "Let's go home."
Each blow seemed to weaken him slightly, but he kept fighting back with relentless fury.
Time seemed to slow down as I fell through the air, my mind racing with a thousand thoughts at once.
I had to reach her before it was too late.
I nodded and shot a web at a nearby building. "Hold on tight."
Mary Jane's voice cut through the chaos. "Peter! Watch out!"
I turned just in time to see Carnage's tendrils whipping towards me.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
We swung through the city, the cool night air rushing past us.
I jumped back, avoiding them by inches.
Finally, a squad of SHIELD agents arrived, securing the area and taking Carnage into custody.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
Frank followed behind silently, always vigilant.
I let out a sigh of relief as they loaded him into a containment unit.
As we landed on our apartment rooftop, I took a deep breath and looked out over the city.
Frank took the opportunity to tackle Carnage from behind, bringing him down hard.
I shot a web at the building across from me, swinging towards her with all the speed I could muster.
But as I got closer, I saw the glint of the sniper's scope aimed directly at her head.
"Good job," one of the agents said to us as they prepared to leave.
The first light of dawn was breaking over the horizon.
"Now!" Frank shouted. "Hit him with everything you've got!"
"Thanks," I replied, feeling the weight of exhaustion settling in.
"We made it," Mary Jane said softly.
"Get down!" I screamed, hoping she could hear me over the chaos of the city streets.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
Mary Jane looked up at me, her eyes wide with terror.
"Yeah," I replied, feeling the weight of the night's events settling in.
Mary Jane hugged me tightly. "I'm so glad you're okay."
She dropped to the ground just as another shot rang out, missing her by inches.
Frank stood at the edge of the roof, looking out into the distance. "I'll be around if you need me."
I hugged her back, grateful for her support. "Me too."
I didn't hesitate. I swung in low and delivered a powerful kick to Carnage's head.
I landed beside her, pulling her into my arms and shielding her with my body.
He roared in pain and tried to rise, but Frank held him down with all his strength.
I nodded in acknowledgment. "Thanks for your help tonight."
Frank walked over and clapped me on the shoulder. "We made a good team tonight."
He gave a curt nod before disappearing into the shadows.
"It's okay," I whispered urgently. "I've got you."
"Stay down!" Frank growled.
I nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we did."
Mary Jane and I headed inside, finally able to relax for a moment.
Carnage thrashed violently, but we didn't let up.
As the SHIELD agents drove away with Carnage in tow, I looked out over the city.
But even as I said it, I knew we weren't safe yet.
I glanced up at Frank, still on the rooftop above us.
The fire was finally being brought under control, and the night air felt cooler now.
I shot more webs at his arms and legs, binding him as tightly as I could.
But just as we stepped through the door, my Spider-Sense tingled violently.
His eyes were locked onto the sniper's position, his jaw set in determination.
We had won this battle, but I knew there would be more challenges ahead.
"Peter!" Mary Jane exclaimed as an explosion rocked our building.
Frank continued to pummel him with brutal efficiency.
For now, though, we could take a moment to breathe and regroup.
Mary Jane watched with bated breath, her hands clasped tightly together.
"Come on, Peter... you can do this," she whispered.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
I turned to Mary Jane and Frank with a determined look in my eyes.
"Let's go home," I said.
Carnage let out one final roar of defiance before collapsing under our combined assault.
His body went limp, and for a moment, there was silence.
We leaped from rooftop to rooftop once more, disappearing into the shadows as dawn began to break over New York City.
"We did it," I panted, looking over at Frank.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
He nodded, wiping sweat from his brow. "Yeah. But we need to make sure he stays down."
Frank pulled out a high-powered rifle, aiming with deadly precision at the sniper's nest.
"Frank, no!" I shouted, still shielding Mary Jane. "We need him alive!"
I shot another web at Carnage's unconscious form, securing him even further.
"We'll call for backup. They can take him into custody."
Frank ignored me, his finger tightening on the trigger.
The sniper fired again, the bullet whizzing past us and embedding itself in the brick wall behind.
Mary Jane ran over to us, her eyes wide with relief. "Are you both okay?"
"We're fine," I assured her. "Thanks for keeping an eye out."
I shot a web at the sniper's gun, yanking it away from him.
"Gotcha!" I muttered under my breath.
She smiled weakly. "Just doing my part."
But Frank didn't hesitate.
He took the shot, hitting the sniper in the shoulder.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
The sniper let out a pained cry and fell from his perch, landing hard on the rooftop below.
I glanced down at Mary Jane. "Stay here," I said firmly before leaping up to secure the sniper.
Mary Jane nodded, her eyes wide with fear but filled with trust.
I grabbed Mary Jane and leaped out the window, narrowly escaping the collapsing structure.
I landed next to the fallen sniper, quickly webbing his hands and feet to ensure he couldn't escape.
He groaned in pain, clutching his shoulder where Frank's bullet had hit him.
We landed on a nearby rooftop, breathless.
The night air was cool against my skin, a stark contrast to the heat from the explosion.
"You're not going anywhere," I said, my voice cold as I tightened the webbing around him.
Frank Castle emerged from the smoke, his face set in determination.
"We need to find out who did this," he growled, his voice cutting through the chaos.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
Frank approached us, his face set in grim satisfaction.
I nodded, scanning the area for any signs of danger.
Mary Jane clung to me, her eyes wide with fear.
"You could've killed him," I snapped at Frank. "We need information."
Frank shrugged, slinging his rifle over his shoulder. "He's alive, isn't he?"
"Stay close," I whispered to her, trying to keep my voice steady.
Frank led the way as we moved cautiously across the rooftops, searching for clues.
I shook my head in frustration. "Barely."
The city below was chaotic, sirens blaring and people shouting.
The sniper looked up at us, his face pale and sweaty from pain. "You're making a mistake," he hissed through gritted teeth. "You have no idea what's coming."
"Then why don't you enlighten us?" I said, crouching down to look him in the eye. "Who sent you?"
Flames licked at the edges of our building, casting eerie shadows on the surrounding structures.
We had to act fast before more lives were endangered.
He laughed weakly. "You'll find out soon enough."
I glanced back at Frank. "We need to get him to the police."
"Any idea who could be behind this?" I asked Frank as we jumped to another rooftop.
"Could be anyone," he replied grimly. "But I've got a few suspects in mind."
Frank's eyes narrowed. "And let them screw it up? No way."
"We don't have a choice," I insisted. "This isn't how we do things."
We continued moving, our senses heightened by the urgency of the situation.
Mary Jane stayed close, her grip on my arm tightening with each leap.
Frank glared at me but didn't argue further.
Suddenly, Frank stopped and pointed towards an alleyway below.
I turned back to Mary Jane. "It's safe now," I called down to her.
She stood up slowly, brushing herself off before making her way towards us.
"Down there," he said. "Looks like someone left in a hurry."
As she reached us, she looked at the sniper with a mix of fear and anger. "Why was he targeting me?"
I peered over the edge and saw scattered debris and a trail leading away from the scene.

Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
"We're going to find out," I assured her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Let's check it out," I said, lowering Mary Jane gently to the ground before following Frank.
The alley was dark and narrow, filled with discarded trash and broken glass.
The sound of sirens grew louder as police cars approached the scene below.
We moved silently, our footsteps barely making a sound on the cracked pavement.
"We need to move," I said to Frank. "Help me get him down."
Frank knelt down and examined a piece of torn fabric caught on a fence.
Frank grunted but complied, lifting the sniper effortlessly and carrying him towards the edge of the rooftop.
"Recognize this?" he asked, holding it up for me to see.
I swung down first, landing softly on the ground before signaling for Frank to follow.
I squinted at it. "Looks like part of a uniform. Maybe SHIELD?"
He lowered the sniper carefully before jumping down himself.
He nodded. "Could be. Or someone trying to frame them."
The police arrived just as we secured the sniper on the ground.
Captain Stacy stepped out of one of the cars, his eyes widening as he took in the scene. "Parker? Castle? What's going on here?"
Mary Jane looked around nervously. "What if they're still here?"
"This guy was targeting Mary Jane," I explained quickly. "We need him in custody."
"We'll handle it," I assured her. "Just stay close."
As we followed the trail further into the alley, we heard faint voices coming from around the corner.
Captain Stacy nodded grimly. "We'll take it from here."
Frank signaled for us to stop and listen.
As the officers moved in to apprehend the sniper, Frank leaned in close to me. "This isn't over," he whispered harshly.
"I know," I replied quietly.
"...didn't go as planned," one voice said angrily. "We need to regroup."
"We can't stay here," another voice replied. "They'll be looking for us."
But before we could say anything else, another gunshot rang out from somewhere nearby.
Frank's eyes narrowed. "Sounds like our guys."
I nodded in agreement. "Let's move in quietly."
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
We crept forward, staying low and using the shadows for cover.
As we rounded the corner, we saw two figures huddled together, their faces obscured by hoods.
Frank raised his rifle and took aim. "Don't move!"
Captain Stacy clutched his side, blood seeping through his fingers.
The figures froze, their heads snapping up in surprise.
One of them reached for something inside his jacket.
"Captain!" I yelled, rushing to his aid.
"Don't even think about it," I warned, shooting a web at his hand and pinning it to the wall.
Frank scanned the area, eyes narrowed.
"Stay with me," I urged Stacy, applying pressure to the wound.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
Frank spotted a shadowy figure retreating.
"I'll get him," he growled, sprinting off.
The other figure tried to run, but Frank was faster.
He tackled him to the ground and held him there with a firm grip.
Mary Jane knelt beside me, her face pale.
"Who sent you?" Frank demanded, his voice cold and menacing.
"Is he going to be okay?" she asked, voice trembling.
"He has to be," I said, desperation in my tone.
The man struggled but couldn't break free. "I don't know! We were just hired muscle!"
"By who?" I pressed, stepping closer.
Sirens wailed in the distance as backup arrived.
"I swear, we don't know!" he insisted. "Some guy in a mask gave us orders!"
The flashing red and blue lights painted the scene in an eerie glow.
I kept my hands pressed firmly against Captain Stacy’s wound, feeling the warm blood seep through my fingers.
Frank tightened his grip. "You're gonna have to do better than that."
Mary Jane watched from a safe distance, her eyes wide with concern.
“Hold on, Captain,” I whispered urgently.
I glanced back at her and gave a reassuring nod before turning my attention back to our captives.
Frank's voice crackled over the radio clipped to Captain Stacy’s belt.
"Got the shooter."
"Start talking," I said firmly. "Or things are gonna get a lot worse for you."
I sighed in relief but knew this was far from over.
The man hesitated but finally spoke. "Alright! Alright! It was some guy calling himself 'The Mastermind.' He paid us to cause chaos and distract you guys!"
Frank's expression darkened. "Where is he now?"
Two paramedics rushed over with a stretcher.
"I don't know!" the man pleaded. "He contacts us through burner phones! We never see him in person!"
“We’ve got it from here,” one of them said, gently pushing me aside.
I exchanged a look with Frank. This wasn't much to go on, but it was a start.
I stood up, my hands stained with blood, and watched as they worked quickly to stabilize him.
"We need to find those phones," I said.
Mary Jane grabbed my arm, her grip tight and fearful.
Frank nodded in agreement. "And fast."
“What now?” she asked, her eyes wide with worry.
Before we could question them further, an explosion rocked the alleyway behind us.
“We need to find out who’s behind this,” I replied, scanning the area for any more threats.
Debris flew everywhere as we shielded ourselves from the blast.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
"Get down!" I shouted, pulling Mary Jane close as more explosions erupted around us.
Frank returned, dragging the shooter by the collar.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
He threw him down at our feet.
“This is the guy,” Frank said gruffly.
The shooter groaned in pain, clutching his leg where Frank had shot him.
Captain Stacy was being loaded into the ambulance.
Frank grabbed one of the captives, using him as a shield against the incoming fire.
“Take care of him,” I called out to the paramedics.
Spider-Man webbed the other figure's weapon, yanking it away.
They nodded and closed the doors, speeding off with sirens blaring.
"We need answers!" I shouted over the chaos.
I turned back to Frank and the shooter.
The captive struggled, but Frank's grip was iron.
“Who sent you?” I demanded, crouching down to meet his eye level.
The shooter spat blood onto the pavement and sneered.
"Talk or die," Frank growled, his voice like steel.
“You’re too late,” he said weakly. “It’s already in motion.”
The hooded figure trembled, his eyes darting around frantically.
“What’s in motion?” Frank barked, stepping closer menacingly.
"The Mastermind is planning a city-wide attack," he confessed, his voice barely audible.
My eyes widened. "Where?" I demanded, stepping closer to him.
The shooter just laughed, a hollow sound that sent chills down my spine.
Before the captive could answer, another explosion erupted nearby.
Mary Jane looked at me, fear etched on her face.
“Peter… what does he mean?”
I instinctively shielded Mary Jane as debris rained down around us.
"Stay close!" I yelled to her, my heart pounding in my chest.
“I don’t know,” I admitted, frustration boiling inside me.
Frank cursed under his breath, dragging the captive into cover behind a dumpster.
The police officers moved in to take custody of the shooter.
“Get him out of here,” I ordered them.
"We need to move," I urged, glancing at Mary Jane's worried face.
We sprinted towards safety, dodging falling debris and navigating through the chaos.
As they hauled him away, I turned to Frank.
The night sky was lit up with flames and smoke, casting an eerie glow over the city.
“We need answers.”
Frank nodded grimly. “And we’ll get them.”
"Peter, what are we going to do?" Mary Jane asked, her voice shaking.
"We'll figure it out," I assured her, though my mind raced with possibilities.
The street was filled with chaos—flashing lights, shouting officers, and curious onlookers gathering at a distance.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to see Mary Jane looking at me with concern.
Frank led us down a narrow alleyway, his eyes scanning for any signs of danger.
"We need to find out where this 'Mastermind' is hiding," he said grimly.
“Are you okay?” she asked softly.
I nodded in agreement. "And fast. If he's planning a city-wide attack, we don't have much time."
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
“I’m fine,” I lied. “But we need to figure out what’s going on.”
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
We reached a small clearing behind an abandoned building and took a moment to catch our breath.
She nodded, understanding the urgency.
Frank pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
The sounds of sirens and explosions filled the air, creating a sense of urgency that was hard to ignore.
Frank turned to the captive, who was still trembling in fear. "Start talking. Now."
“Microchip,” he said into the receiver. “We’ve got a situation.”
The man swallowed hard. "He... he has a base in the old subway tunnels. That's where he coordinates everything."
He walked away to continue his conversation in private.
"Which tunnels?" I pressed, my patience wearing thin.
I took a deep breath and looked around at the scene—the bloodstains on the ground where Captain Stacy had fallen, the shattered glass from nearby windows hit by stray bullets.
"Underneath Midtown," he stammered. "Near the old station that's been closed for years."
This was getting out of hand.
Mary Jane squeezed my hand reassuringly.
Frank exchanged a look with me. "We need to get there now."
“We’ll get through this,” she said firmly.
I nodded and turned to Mary Jane. "Stay here and stay safe. We'll handle this."
She grabbed my arm, her eyes filled with worry. "Peter, be careful."
I nodded, drawing strength from her words.
Frank returned, his expression dark.
"I will," I promised before turning back to Frank. "Let's go."
We moved quickly through the city, using our knowledge of the streets and rooftops to navigate efficiently.
“We’ve got a lead,” he said curtly. “But it’s not good.”
“What is it?” I asked urgently.
The closer we got to Midtown, the more intense the destruction became.
“There’s a warehouse on the docks,” he explained. “Microchip traced some suspicious activity there.”
Fires raged uncontrollably, and panicked civilians ran in every direction.
As we approached the entrance to the old subway tunnels, Frank stopped and looked at me seriously.
“Then that’s where we’re headed,” I said decisively.
Mary Jane looked worried but didn’t protest.
"This is it. No turning back now."
“Be careful,” she whispered as I prepared to leave.
I nodded in agreement. "Let's end this."
“I will,” I promised before turning to Frank. “Let’s go.”
We descended into the dark tunnels, our footsteps echoing off the walls.
We moved quickly through the city streets, heading towards the docks with determination burning in our veins.
The air was thick with dust and grime, making it hard to see more than a few feet ahead.
"Keep your guard up," Frank warned as we moved deeper into the labyrinth of tunnels.
Whatever awaited us there, we were ready to face it head-on.
As we approached the warehouse, Frank signaled for silence.
Suddenly, we heard voices up ahead.
We crept closer, hearing muffled voices inside.
Frank signaled for us to stop and listen.

"...everything is set," one voice said confidently. "The city won't know what hit them."
Chapter 2
"Good," another voice replied. "The Mastermind will be pleased."
Frank's eyes narrowed. "That's our cue."
We moved forward stealthily until we could see a group of armed men gathered around a makeshift command center.
The docks loomed ahead, shrouded in the eerie glow of flickering streetlights.
Frank raised his rifle and took aim while I prepared my webs.
"Now!" I shouted as we launched our attack.
The air was thick with tension, every sound amplified by the silence of the night.
Frank and I moved silently, our senses on high alert for any threats.
Frank fired precise shots at their weapons while I webbed up their hands and feet.
Mary Jane stayed back, hidden but vigilant, her eyes scanning the area from a safe distance.
Chaos erupted as they tried to fight back but were quickly overwhelmed by our combined efforts.
We spotted armed guards patrolling the perimeter, their shadows stretching long under the dim lights.
One of them managed to break free and made a run for it.
Frank signaled me to take the high ground while he approached from below.
I shot a web at his legs, tripping him up before he could escape.
"Where's The Mastermind?" I demanded as I pinned him down with my webs.
I nodded and shot a web at a nearby crane, swinging up silently and perching on its arm to get a better view.
"He... he's in there!" he pointed towards a heavily fortified door at the far end of the tunnel.
From my vantage point, I could see Frank moving stealthily along the ground.
He crept up behind one of the guards, his movements precise and deadly.
Frank kicked open the door without hesitation, revealing a dimly lit room filled with monitors and equipment.
At the center stood The Mastermind himself—a tall figure wearing a mask that obscured his face completely.
With a swift motion, he incapacitated the guard, dragging him into the shadows before he could make a sound.
I spotted another guard near the warehouse entrance, his weapon gleaming under the lights.
"You've caused enough trouble," Frank growled as he aimed his rifle at The Mastermind.
Before he could react, I shot a web at his gun, yanking it out of his hands and disarming him instantly.
The Mastermind laughed menacingly. "You think you can stop me? You're too late!"
He looked around in confusion, but by then Frank had already moved in to take him down.
Before we could react further, The Mastermind pressed a button on his wrist device.
An alarm blared loudly throughout the tunnels as red lights began flashing everywhere.
We converged near the warehouse door, hearing muffled voices inside.
Frank glanced at me, his eyes hard and determined.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
I nodded, signaling that I was ready.
With a powerful kick, Frank burst the door open.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
The room inside was filled with crates and armed men who turned to face us in shock.
For a moment, time seemed to stand still as we took in the scene.
"Get them!" one of the men shouted, raising his weapon.
But we were faster.
I shot webs at two of the men closest to us, binding their arms and pulling them off balance.
Frank moved like a force of nature, taking down another guard with a brutal punch that sent him sprawling.
The room erupted into chaos as more men rushed towards us.
I swung from crate to crate, using my agility to stay one step ahead of them.
I disarmed another guard with a quick flick of my wrist, sending his gun skidding across the floor.
Frank fought with ruthless efficiency, each move calculated to incapacitate without hesitation.
He grabbed one man by the collar and slammed him into a crate, knocking him out cold.
"Peter! Behind you!" Mary Jane's voice rang out from outside.
I turned just in time to see a guard aiming his weapon at me.
I shot a web at his face, blinding him temporarily before kicking him away.
Frank and I fought our way through the room, taking down guards left and right.
But more kept coming, pouring out from behind crates and hidden doors.
"We need to find out what's in these crates," Frank shouted over the noise.
I nodded and swung over to one of the larger crates, prying it open with my strength-enhanced grip.
Inside were rows of high-tech weapons—guns, explosives, and devices I couldn't even identify.
"This is bad," I muttered under my breath. "Really bad."
Frank joined me at the crate, his eyes narrowing as he took in the contents. "We need to destroy this stuff."
Before we could act on that plan, more guards flooded into the room.
One of them managed to get a shot off, grazing my arm with a searing pain.
"Peter!" Mary Jane's voice was filled with fear.
"I'm okay!" I called back. "Just a scratch."
Frank growled in frustration. "We can't hold them off forever. We need an exit strategy."
I scanned the room quickly. "There! The loading bay doors!"
We fought our way towards the doors, taking down anyone who tried to stop us.
As we reached them, I shot webs at the control panel, forcing the doors open with a loud creak.
"Go!" I shouted to Frank. "I'll cover you!"
He nodded and moved through the doors first, dragging an unconscious guard with him for questioning later.
I followed close behind but not before shooting webs at several crates of weapons inside.
With a final yank on my webbing, I pulled down a stack of crates to block our pursuers' path temporarily.
We burst out into the night air by the docks again.
Mary Jane ran towards us from her hiding spot.
"Are you both okay?" she asked breathlessly.
"We're fine," Frank replied gruffly. "But this isn't over yet."

An explosion rocked the warehouse, sending a shockwave through the air and setting the entire structure ablaze.
"Move!" I shouted, grabbing Mary Jane's hand.
Frank and I sprinted through the chaos, dodging falling debris and flames that licked at our heels.
The heat was intense, making it hard to breathe.
I shot a web at a nearby beam and swung Mary Jane to safety, landing on a rooftop across the street.

Frank followed, his face grim and determined.
"We need to regroup," I said, panting heavily.
Frank nodded, scanning the area for any immediate threats. "Agreed."
Mary Jane clung to me, her eyes wide with fear. "What's our next move?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Frank's jaw tightened. "We find out who's behind this."
I looked at him and nodded. "He's right. We can't let them get away with this."
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
The fire roared behind us, casting an eerie glow over the cityscape.
We needed to disappear into the night and figure out our next steps.
"Let's go," I said, determination burning in my eyes.
We moved quickly, leaping from rooftop to rooftop, blending into the shadows as we made our escape from the blazing warehouse.
Shadows of Justice: A Rooftop Debate
As we leaped away, a mysterious figure emerged from the flames, unscathed.
I squinted through the smoke, trying to make out who it was.
The figure began to deform and change, his body twisting and contorting in a grotesque manner.
My eyes widened in shock as the transformation completed.
"Carnage? Here?" I muttered under my breath.
Frank Castle aimed his rifle at the newly formed villain, his finger hovering over the trigger.
"Stay back," I warned him, my voice tense with urgency.
Carnage lunged at us with terrifying speed, his tendrils whipping through the air like deadly whips.
I pushed Mary Jane aside just in time and engaged Carnage head-on.
I dodged his deadly tendrils, each one narrowly missing me by inches.
Frank took a shot, but Carnage deflected it effortlessly with a swipe of his arm.
"We need to work together!" I shouted over the chaos.
Frank nodded reluctantly, his eyes narrowing as he focused on Carnage's weak points.
He adjusted his aim and fired again, this time targeting Carnage's legs.
Carnage roared in anger as the bullet grazed him, but it wasn't enough to slow him down.
He lashed out with a tendril, aiming for Frank's head.

I shot a web at Frank's shoulder and yanked him out of harm's way just in time.
"Thanks," Frank grunted, rolling to his feet and taking aim once more.
The battle intensified as we fought to protect Mary Jane and stop Carnage's rampage.
I swung around Carnage, using my agility to stay one step ahead of his attacks.
I shot webs at his face, trying to blind him temporarily.
Carnage snarled and ripped the webs away with ease.
He lunged at me again, his claws slashing through the air.
I flipped backward, narrowly avoiding his attack.
Frank fired another shot, this time hitting Carnage square in the chest.
But instead of falling, Carnage seemed to absorb the impact, his body rippling with energy.
"This guy's tougher than I thought," Frank muttered under his breath.
"We can't let him get to Mary Jane," I said urgently. "We need to keep him distracted."
Frank nodded and moved to flank Carnage from the side.
He fired a series of rapid shots, each one aimed at a different part of Carnage's body.
I swung in low and kicked Carnage in the back of the knees, trying to destabilize him.
Carnage stumbled but quickly regained his footing, turning his rage towards me.
"You think you can stop me?" he hissed, his voice dripping with malice.

I didn't respond. Instead, I shot webs at his legs, trying to bind him in place.
Carnage roared and tore through the webbing with ease.
Frank took advantage of the distraction and fired another shot, this time aiming for Carnage's head.
The bullet grazed Carnage's temple, causing him to stagger momentarily.
"Now!" I shouted to Frank. "Hit him hard!"
Frank charged forward, tackling Carnage with all his strength.
They crashed into a pile of debris, sending dust and rubble flying into the air.
I swung over and joined the fray, delivering a series of rapid punches to Carnage's midsection.
He growled in pain but refused to go down without a fight.
Mary Jane watched from a safe distance, her eyes wide with fear but filled with determination.
She knew we were fighting for her safety as much as our own.
Carnage lashed out again, catching Frank off guard and throwing him across the street.
I barely had time to react before Carnage turned his attention back to me.
With a surge of adrenaline, I ducked under his next attack and delivered a powerful uppercut to his jaw.
Carnage reeled back, momentarily stunned by the force of my blow.
"Peter! Behind you!" Mary Jane's voice rang out again.
