I had been playing in the living room, when I decided to go get some water.
As I was walking through the kitchen, I saw a flash of red, white, and blue as my dad jumped out the window.
I ran to the window and saw him standing on the balcony of our apartment, his shield on his arm.
Then he jumped off, and I watched in amazement as he flipped through the air, landing effortlessly on the ground.
He looked up and saw me staring at him in wonder, then smiled and waved.
I waved back, and then he turned and ran off.
I went back inside and found my mom sitting on the couch, putting her shoes on.
"Where's dad going?"
