I stared at myself in the mirror and sighed.
I hated being so petite and skinny.
I knew I would never be able to fill out my clothes properly because of my lack of curves.
I was only five feet tall, which made me look more like a twelve-year-old than a seventeen-year-old teen model.
I smoothed out my hair and sighed again.
I just wished I could be like some of the other models I worked with—tall and athletic.
"Anna," I called, not seeing her anywhere.
"I’m ready!"
I heard her laugh and looked over to see her coming toward me with one of the other models I had worked with a few times before.
"Hey, Mia," she said, winking at me.
Anna was an older teen model—about twenty-one—and she was definitely taller and more athletic than me.
She had long, dark hair and hazel eyes, which made her look even more beautiful than she already was.
She was one of the few models I had met who didn’t make me feel self-conscious about my weight or height.
"Hey," I said, smiling at her.
"How’s it going?"
"It’s going great," she said.
"I think we’re going to get some amazing shots today."
I nodded and followed her to where the other models were waiting.
We were doing a photo shoot at a waterpark, which meant we would be wearing bikinis all day.
Anna had on a black bikini with white polka dots, while I had on a red one with white flowers.
We looked completely different, but that was what made our photos look so good.
"Okay, girls," Jaxon said, looking at us.
"Let’s get started."
Jaxon was our photographer for the day, and he was one of the best in the business.
He had worked with some of the most famous models in the world, and he always got amazing shots.
"Let’s start with you two," he said, pointing at Anna and me.
"Go ahead and pose for me."
Who Can Lift Who
We did as he asked, posing in front of the camera.
I tried to make myself look taller by standing up straighter, but I knew it wasn’t going to work.
I was just too small compared to Anna. "Okay," Jaxon said after a few minutes.
"Now let’s try something different."
He thought for a second before looking at us again.
"Mia, why don’t you lift Anna up?"
My eyes widened in surprise as I looked at Anna and then back at Jaxon.
"Lift her up?" "Yes," he said, nodding.
"I want to see if you can do it."
I wasn’t sure if I could lift Anna or not, but I knew I had to try.
Who Can Lift Who
She was taller than me, but she wasn’t that much heavier.
I took a deep breath and walked over to her.
I put my arms around her waist and lifted up with all my strength. To my surprise, I was able to lift her off the ground.
She laughed and clapped her hands together as I carried her across the water park
As I carried Anna across the water park, I could see the stunned expressions on the faces of the people around us.
Their eyes followed us as we walked by, their mouths hanging open in disbelief.
I felt a surge of pride mixed with nervousness as I continued to carry Anna.
Her laughter echoed through the water park, drawing even more attention to us.
We passed by families with young children, who stared at us in awe.
We also passed by other models who were waiting for their turn to pose for Jaxon.
They all looked at us in surprise, wondering how I was able to carry Anna so easily.
Jaxon followed behind us, taking pictures of everything we did.
I tried to ignore him and focus on keeping my grip on Anna, but it was difficult.
My arms were starting to shake from the weight of her body, and I knew that I couldn’t keep carrying her for much longer.
I looked around for a place to set her down and saw a large slide nearby.
"Anna," I said, trying to catch my breath, "I think I need to put you down now."
She giggled and nodded. "Alright, but you know what this means, right?"
I glanced at her curiously as I gently lowered her. "What does it mean?"
As I gently set Anna down near the large slide, I took a deep breath and looked at her.
I was still amazed at what I had just done.
The murmurs of the crowd and the clicking of Jaxon’s camera faded into the background as I focused on Anna’s amused expression.
"Would you like to be carried in another position?"
I asked, half-joking but also curious about what she had meant by her comment earlier.
Anna laughed, seeming to consider my question for a moment.
"Piggyback ride," she finally said, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
I raised an eyebrow at her suggestion, but then nodded.
"Okay, let’s do it."
We moved away from the main area of the water park, seeking a quieter spot where we could attempt this new position without drawing even more attention to ourselves.

Jaxon followed us, his camera still ready to capture every moment. "Okay," Anna said, looking at me with anticipation.
"Let’s see if you can do it."
I bent down slightly, and Anna climbed onto my back, wrapping her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck.
I adjusted my stance in the shallow end of the pool, bracing myself for her weight.
Anna settled against me, and I gripped her legs tightly, determined not to let her slip.
Taking careful steps through the water, I could feel Anna’s laughter vibrating against my back.
A few people stopped to watch us, pointing and whispering to each other.
A group of teenagers who had been splashing around in the pool stopped what they were doing and stared at us.
Who Can Lift Who
Some parents with their kids paused by the edge of the pool, their eyes wide with surprise.
As we continued walking through the water, more people gathered to watch.
They seemed amazed by what they were seeing, and I couldn’t blame them.
I was still surprised myself.
