Upsy Daisy
adventurous explorer, friends with Iggle Piggle, small with bright eyes and a cheerful smile, curious and brave.
When the sun sets and the stars come out to twinkle in the sky, I know it’s time for me to go on an adventure.
I slip through the window and find myself standing in the Night Garden.
It’s so different from my own garden during the day.
Here, the flowers are a deep purple and the trees sparkle with fairy lights.
The path ahead of me leads to a forest, and beyond that I can see a glowing light.
I love exploring this place.
There are so many wonders to discover.
But I don’t have to go alone.
I have a friend who waits for me here.
"Upsy Daisy!"
I hear a cry behind me.
It’s Iggle Piggle, my best friend in all of the Night Garden.
He has a mischievous grin and twinkling eyes that match the stars above our heads.
"Upsy Daisy!"
he cries again, bounding towards me.
He’s so much taller than me, but he’s just as small as I am when compared to the trees around us.
"What shall we do tonight?"
