Tonight was the night.
After weeks of planning, we were going into the Carter Mansion.
It's been abandoned for decades, local legend says it's cursed.
Those who go in, never come out.
I don't believe it of course.
I'm a skeptic when it comes to the paranormal.
But I've got to admit, going into the old mansion gives me the creeps.
The story goes that back in the 1800's, the Carters lost their only child in a tragic accident in the house.
After that, they left and never came back.
They say the mother was insane with grief, and her presence still haunts the mansion, searching for her lost child.
But I don't believe it, like I said.
There has to be a logical reason for the Carters leaving all their wealth behind.
