the kind old lady who helps Whiskers and Rufus, silver hair in a bun, gentle and wise.

the stray dog, friends with Whiskers, scruffy brown coat with floppy ears, loyal and playful.

the lonely cat, friends with Rufus, sleek black fur with bright green eyes, curious and affectionate.

I used to be very lonely.

I am a cat, and I live in a neighborhood where pets are not allowed to go outside.

So, I have to stay inside all the time.

I don't have any brothers or sisters, and my owners are always working.

They come home only to eat dinner and sleep.

Sometimes they pet me, but most of the time, they are too busy to notice me.

So, I used to spend most of my time sleeping or looking outside the window.

I always wanted to go outside and see what was happening in the world.

I wanted to feel the sun on my fur and the wind in my whiskers.

I wanted to chase butterflies and birds.

I wanted to make friends with other animals.

Sometimes I would see dogs walking by with their owners.

I was afraid of them because I had never been around one before.
