I'm Eddie Hart, but you probably know me better as Eddie from the YouTube channel The Boys.
I'm the one with the big smile, charming wit, and humor that's won over three million subscribers.
At least that's what my mom says.
I'm also the one who started it all.
I was thirteen when I created my channel with my friends Lucas Brooks and Jamie Reed.
We were all in eighth grade, and we thought it would be cool to post videos of ourselves doing stupid stuff.
The first few videos were on a trampoline in my backyard, doing flips and shit into foam blocks.
Then we started doing more stuff like pranks in school and challenges that we found online.
It wasn't until our hundredth video that things took off.
We posted a video called "Ghost in the Hallway" where Lucas dropped thousands of white balloons down a school hallway, and then I jumped out from behind a door and scared the shit out of Jamie.
The video went viral, and our subscriber count skyrocketed.
After a year of posting more prank videos, we were approached by a production company who wanted to meet with us.
They pitched us an idea to turn our YouTube channel into a TV show, and we bit.
