Luffy being very protective of law
Luffy Lelaport Mungan
He is the captain of the Heart Pirates. He is adventurous, determined, and protective. He has a strong bond with Law and Sanji. Luffy is on a quest to find the legendary treasure, Diamante, to save Law's life. He is willing to go through challenges and battles to achieve his goal. Despite his lack of combat experience, he is a skilled fighter using his rubber powers creatively.
Francis "Frankie" Jones
He is one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and Law's brotherinlaw. He is arrogant, ruthless, and powerhungry. Frankie attempts to kill Law by poisoning him with mercury, leading Luffy and Gutz to rescue him. His disdain for family ties is evident as he prioritizes power over sibling bonds. Frankie’s actions drive Luffy’s urgency in finding Diamante to save Law’s life.
Gutz
He is a member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and Luffy's ally. He is strong, loyal, and strategic. Gutz helps Luffy on his journey to find Diamante by providing him with information and support. He also participates in battles against enemies like Absalom to protect Luffy. Gutz's presence is crucial as Luffy navigates through dangers and close calls while pursuing his goal of saving Law's life.
I was thinking of going to look for Diamante.
I know it's a legend, but I have to try.
Law is very important to me.
He is my friend, my doctor, and the person who made me realize what I want to do with my life: finding the legendary treasure and becoming the Pirate King.
I don't want anything to happen to him.
Gutz agreed with me and told me that he will give me all the information he has about Diamante.
He also said that he will help me when I find it.
I am grateful for his help, and I am not going to let him down.
I will definitely find Diamante and save Law's life.
"Sanji, where are we?"
I asked him after a few hours of sailing.
"We are close to the island of Thriller-Bark," he answered me.
"This island is famous for its ghosts."
"Yeh, I heard about this island before," I said.
"But I don't believe in ghosts."
"I believe in ghosts," Gutz said from behind us.
"You shouldn't underestimate the power of ghosts."
"Whatever, let's continue our journey," I said.
Through my spyglass, I was scanning the shores of the island.
The mist was covering the entire island, and it was hard to see anything.
But then, I saw it: a flag that I knew very well.
It was Law's flag, and it was waving in the wind.
I couldn't believe it; Law's ship was anchored in a hidden cove, surrounded by tall rock formations.
I ordered Sanji to steer our ship closer to the cove.
Gutz went to prepare the anchor, and the rest of the crew started gathering their weapons and supplies.
As we got closer to Law's ship, I could see that something was wrong.
The deck was empty, and there were no signs of life on board.
The sails were torn, and the ship looked like it had been through a storm.
I gripped the railing of the ship tightly, studying Law's vessel through the thick mist as we pulled alongside it.
The splintered wood and shredded sails told the story of a violent struggle.
Gutz was busy preparing the boarding planks, while Sanji readied the rope ladders.
My heart pounded in my chest as I noticed dried bloodstains on the deck.
Before anyone could stop me, I stretched my rubber arm to grab hold of the damaged ship's mast and launched myself over.
My feet hit the deck with a hollow thud that echoed across the empty vessel.
The ship creaked ominously beneath my weight as I took slow steps toward the captain's quarters.
"Law?"
I called out, my voice echoing off the walls.
"Are you here?"
There was no response, only the sound of creaking wood and the distant calls of seagulls.
"Wait," Sanji's voice cut through the silence as he swung over onto the deck beside me.
"Look at this," he pointed to a trail of blood leading toward the hatch.
Gutz joined us, his eyes narrowing, "This isn't just a struggle; it's a message."
Following the blood trail down the hatch, we descended into the dimly lit lower deck.
The metallic scent of blood grew stronger with each step, and my heart raced with anticipation.
Sanji and Gutz followed closely behind me as we made our way through the narrow corridors.
The air was thick with tension, and I could feel the weight of the unknown pressing down upon us.
Finally, we arrived at a large wooden door adorned with intricate carvings.
I pushed it open slowly, revealing a spacious cabin filled with books and maps.
And there, sprawled across his bed, was Law.
My heart skipped a beat as I rushed toward him, expecting to find him wounded or worse.
But to my surprise, he was simply sleeping soundly, his chest rising and falling with each steady breath.
Empty medicine bottles littered the floor around him, and a faint smell of herbs wafted through the air.
Relief washed over me like a wave, but it was quickly replaced by anger.
Law had been overworking himself again, pushing his body to its limits without rest or care. Without hesitation, I scooped Law up in my arms, cradling him like a child.
His crew members emerged from the shadows, their faces filled with concern and gratitude.
"Thank you," one of them said, bowing their heads in respect.
"He's been like this for days. We couldn't wake him."
I nodded solemnly, "He needs proper rest and care. I'll take him on my ship."
They didn't argue; they knew that Law was in good hands with me.
As I carried him back to our ship, I vowed silently that I would protect him from himself, no matter the cost.
I adjust my grip on Law's unconscious body as we make our way back through the narrow corridors.
His head rests against my chest, his soft breathing a gentle reminder of the life in my arms.
His crew follows closely behind, explaining how he collapsed after treating injured sailors for three days straight without rest.
The wooden floorboards creak under our footsteps as we ascend toward the deck.
Suddenly, Law's hand slides down and brushes against mine.
The unexpected contact sends an electric jolt through me, causing me to stumble mid-step.
Sanji catches my arm, steadying me with a concerned look.
I tighten my hold on Law, noticing how cold his skin feels against mine.
His breathing is shallow, too shallow.
"He's colder than he should be," Sanji murmured, his brow furrowed with worry.
"We need to get him warmed up quickly," Gutz added, urgency lacing his voice.
I nodded, determination hardening my resolve, "Let's get him to the infirmary; we can't waste any more time."
