I wake up to the sound of my phone buzzing on my nightstand.

I roll over and pick it up, groaning when I see that it’s only my alarm going off.

It’s already six thirty in the morning, and I have to be at work by eight, but I have to get ready, and getting ready takes time.

I hit the snooze button on my phone and throw it back onto the nightstand before rolling over onto my back.

My stomach growls as I think about having to go to work soon.
