I was never one of those people who had a five-year plan.
I didn’t have any idea what I wanted to do with my life, even after I graduated from college with a degree in English.
I’d planned to just go with the flow and see what happened.
Turns out, going with the flow included getting a job at a local bookstore, making friends with the other employees, and falling in love with one of the regular customers.
It was a decent life, if not one that I had ever actively planned for.
My name is Jamie Hart, and I’m twenty-three years old.
I live in a small house with my boyfriend, Lucas Brooks.
Lucas is about six foot one and has an athletic build that comes from playing sports all through high school and college.
He’s gorgeous in a completely masculine way, with buzzed hair the color of dark chocolate and bright blue eyes.
