It was a beautiful evening, the sun had already gone down with its last rays fading away and the sky was filled with the lovely stars.
I was celebrating my 22nd birthday in the company of my family: my mother, two sisters, three female cousins, and my two aunts.
The celebration was going on a great note when suddenly our phones buzzed with an alert tone.
We looked at each other in confusion because none of us had heard a notification sound before.
We all took out our phones to check and what we saw was unbelievable.
The news had flashed a warning signal that an epidemic plague was spreading at a very fast pace and had covered most of the parts of the city.
The government advised everyone to stay indoors and not to come out for any reason.
We checked the news again to confirm whether we had heard it correctly or not.
When we were sure about it, we all broke into a panic.
We tried to calm ourselves and think about what the next step should be.
Fortunately for us, we resided in a developed area and according to the news, food and water would be delivered by the drones.
So we didn't have any problem with the supply of food and water but the problem was something else.
Thinking about what the government said about staying indoors, I realized that I would have to spend more days with my beautiful mother and two stunning aunts in one room while my sisters and cousins would occupy the adjacent room.

I sat on the edge of my bed and watched them discussing the sleeping arrangements.
"Mom, we could all fit in Aiden's bed," Lisa suggested, making Emily blush.
"No, dear. I don't think that would be a good idea," Mom said.
"We can take turns sleeping on the floor with blankets," Mom suggested.
"But Mom, that would hurt our backs," Lisa argued.
I kept quiet and watched them discussing.
My heart was beating fast.
"Hey, Aiden! What do you think?"
Emily asked me, breaking the silence.
Before I could answer, Lisa plopped down beside me on my queen-size bed to test whether we could all fit or not.

The mattress dipped as she sat down and her shoulder brushed against mine.
Mom sighed at the realization that we had no choice but to share the bed.
"Fine. Let's do it," Emily said reluctantly.
"Wait," I interjected, trying to sound casual, "what if we rearrange the furniture and make more space for everyone?"
Mom raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical.

"Do you have a secret plan, Aiden, or are you just trying to avoid sharing your bed?" she teased with a knowing smile.
I chuckled and stood up.
"Let me show you."
I said, gesturing to my desk.
"If we push the desk against the wall, we can make more space for everyone to sleep. We can even use my desk as a headboard."
Lisa's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Oh, that's a great idea! I hate sleeping in a cramped space. I need room to stretch out," she said, her voice husky as she stretched her arms over her head.
Emily rolled her eyes at Lisa's suggestive comment.
"Okay, let's get moving," Mom said, clapping her hands together.
"Lisa, Emily, help me push the desk against the wall. Aiden, you can lift the other end."
With some effort, we managed to move the desk against the wall and made more room for everyone to sleep comfortably.

As we were arranging the bed, Lisa kept brushing against me and making suggestive comments about needing more space to stretch out at night.
I tried not to blush or react, but it was hard to ignore her flirting.
Finally, we finished rearranging the furniture and made more space for everyone to sleep comfortably.
The room felt stuffy and hot with all of us in there, so Emily opened the window to let in some fresh air.
But even with the window open, the summer heat still made it hard to breathe. "It's so hot in here," Mom complained as she wiped sweat from her forehead.
"It's because of all of us packed in here," Emily said as she fanned herself with a magazine.
"Why don't we just sleep in our underwear tonight?" Lisa suggested with a sly smile.
Emily shot her a look of disapproval.
"No way," she said firmly.
"But I'm so hot," Lisa pouted.
"I know I am too," Emily admitted reluctantly.
"But it's better than sleeping in our clothes."
Mom looked at us thoughtfully, then nodded her head decisively.
"Okay then. Let's all just wear our underwear tonight."
We all agreed and headed off to change into our pajamas before settling down for the night.

As we lay there in the dimly lit room, I could feel Mom's warmth beside me and hear Lisa's soft breathing coming from across the bed.

Despite my initial reservations about sleeping arrangements, I was actually enjoying this time with my family. "Hey Mom?"
I asked softly into the darkness.
"Yes dear?"
"Did you see what tomorrow's weather is supposed to be like?"

I asked curiously.
