time traveler, friends with Elara and rivals with Cyrus, lean with sharp eyes, inventive and determined

I was Behzad Saeedi and I had just invented a time machine.

I stared at my computer screen, hardly believing my eyes.

The code that I had written, the algorithm that I had created had finally paid off.

I had just run the program and it had said that I was ready to go.

"Ready to go-what does that even mean?"

I muttered to myself.

I looked around my laboratory and shook my head.

I was still in shock, I think, over what I had achieved.

I had actually done it.

I had actually invented a time machine.

I looked at the clock on the wall-10:05 PM.

I looked at my time machine, a huge contraption in the middle of the room.

It was basically a big metal box with flashing lights and buttons galore.

I stared at it, still not quite believing that I would be able to use it to travel through time.

"Okay Behzad, let's do this!"

I cried, clapping my hands together in excitement.

I walked over to my time machine and climbed inside.

It was a bit cramped but I could fit.

I looked at the buttons and levers in front of me, frowning in confusion.
