I was born in 1995.

I am writing this in 2057.

I have seen things no man should ever have to witness.

I am writing this so that you, whoever finds this, knows what happened to humanity.

I'm not sure how much longer I will live.

So I will start from the beginning.

My name is Behzad Naderi and I used to be a time traveler.

I used to be many things.

Now I am just a man trying to survive in a world that has been destroyed.

I grew up in Tehran, Iran, the son of two professors.

My father taught physics, my mother biology.

From a very young age I was fascinated with science and mathematics.

Not just learning what was taught in school, but rather reading every book I could find on the subjects.

When I was 10 years old, my parents moved to California so that they could further their educations.

Living in the United States was very different from living in Iran.
