I was the first time traveler.
I know that's a bold claim, but I can back it up.
In 2050, I was working in my laboratory in Tehran when I stumbled upon the formula for time travel.
It was an accident, something none of the thousands of scientists working on the problem around the world had been able to achieve.
I had been trying to create a fusion reactor when I blew out my lab's electrical system.
When I went down to the basement to reset the circuit breakers, I noticed something strange.
The clock on the wall said 3:47 PM, but my watch said 4:03.
At first, I thought it was because I was in a part of the building shielded from radio waves, but then I looked out the window and saw myself walking back upstairs.
I was resetting the circuit breakers an hour ago!
Over the next few weeks, I tested my discovery in secrecy.
