Elijah
He is a young man with a deep connection to God. He is devoted, powerful, and selfassured. From his earliest days, his parents taught him the importance of the Bible. As he grew, Elijah experienced miraculous events where God answered his prayers instantly. He learned to harness this power and developed a strong sense of authority. By the time he was twenty, Elijah was able to perform remarkable feats, such as healing the sick and bringing back to life.
Elijah's Father
He is a man of faith and spiritual authority. He is nurturing, wise, and supportive. He played a significant role in teaching Elijah the scriptures and nurturing his son's connection with God. The father witnessed Elijah's growth in powers and took pride in seeing his son become a mighty prophet. He trusted Elijah with important tasks and never questioned his actions. The father believed in Elijah’s potential to make a significant impact in the world.
Elijah's Mother
She is a nurturing figure and Elijah’s closest companion. She is loving, encouraging, and caring. She shared her husband's devotion to teaching Elijah the ways of God. Her bond with Elijah was filled with affection and trust. Even as she grew old, she continued to care for Elijah, treating him like a son. Her presence provided Elijah with emotional support and stability throughout his journey of spiritual growth and power.
I was born into a family that loved and feared God.
My parents were the type of people who always ran away from anything that had to do with the devil.
They were very devoted to God and to the things of God.
From my childhood, they taught me the scriptures and how to handle the Bible, which is the word of God.
As I grew up, I started seeing miracles happening in my life.
I would ask God for something and get it almost immediately.
I would be walking on the street and say, "Oh God, I want to buy a pair of shoes," and before I finish praying, someone would just stop me on the road and say, "Take this pair of shoes."
I would be confused and ask him why he gave me the shoes.
He would say, "God asked me to give you these shoes."
I would then ask him how he knew it was God who asked him to give me the shoes, and he would say, "I don't know... I just know it was God who asked me to give you these shoes."
I experienced a lot of things like that, and as time went on, I started seeing more and understanding more.
My parents were very happy seeing all these things happen to me.
They were proud of being my parents and told everyone they met about me and what God was doing in my life.
Walking down the busy street on a chilly afternoon, I could feel the cold seeping through my thin jacket.
The winter wind had a way of biting at my exposed neck, sending shivers down my spine.
I had been walking for quite some time now, and the cold was starting to get to me.
But then I remembered all the times God had provided for me in unexpected ways.
A calm certainty filled me, and without hesitation, I whispered under my breath, "God, I need a new coat."
Just then, a well-dressed businessman walking ahead of me suddenly stopped and turned around.
His eyes locked with mine, and he removed his expensive wool coat.
"I've been carrying this extra coat all day," he said, extending it towards me.
"Something told me someone would need it."
I sat on a bench near the street corner, wrapped in the businessman's wool coat.
People hurried past me, their footsteps weaving through the sounds of the city.
Nearby, a violinist played his instrument, his case open on the ground for passersby to drop coins.
The melody he played was an old hymn that my mother used to sing to me when I was a child.
I recognized it instantly, and it brought back memories of our family gatherings around the fireplace.
The musician's fingers danced across the strings while his eyes remained fixed on me.
He wore a pair of worn shoes that had seen better days, and his jacket was threadbare.
As I listened to him play, I couldn't help but remember my earlier prayer.
It seemed like God had provided for me once again.
The musician finished his song and began packing up his violin without breaking eye contact with me.
Then he walked towards my bench with deliberate steps.
"Do you believe in miracles?" he asked, his voice carrying a hint of curiosity.
"I do," I replied, feeling the weight of his gaze.
"Then perhaps it's time you knew," he said softly, "you're not the only one He listens to."
The violinist and I continued talking as the sun began to set.
A man in a navy suit approached us, his polished shoes clicking against the pavement.
He stopped and listened intently to our conversation.
"Excuse me," he interrupted, pulling out a business card from his breast pocket.
"I couldn't help but overhear. I own Harmony Music Shop on Fifth Street, and I'm looking for someone special."
He explained how his shop had been growing rapidly and he needed help managing the increasing flow of customers.
The card read "Thomas Weber, Owner" in gold lettering.
"Come by tomorrow," he said, "I believe you might be the answer to a prayer."
