I was walking through the hallway when I found a piece of paper on the ground.
It was a letter, and though I didn't mean to read it, I couldn't help but read it anyway since my name was mentioned in it.
The letter said:
"Dear Emily,
I want you, I need you.
I must kiss you tomorrow.
Meet me in a secluded place.
I will be waiting for you.

Jake
I couldn't believe what I was reading!
The person I admire, secretly the person I love, wrote this letter!
He wants me!
He needs me!
He has to kiss me!
I felt like I was walking on air as I walked out of the hallway.
Suddenly, someone called out to me.
"Emily!"
I turned around and saw Sarah Mitchell walking towards me.
She looked confused, and I wondered why she would be confused.
"Hi, Sarah. What's up?"
I asked her.
She held up the letter in her hand and said, "Isn't this supposed to be for you? I just got it by mistake in my locker."
I took the letter from her and read it again.
This time, I noticed that it said 'Sarah' at the beginning, not 'Emily'.
My heart sank as I realized my mistake.
It wasn't meant for me at all!
It was actually meant for her!
"Oh, I'm so sorry! I just read it by mistake!"
I said to her.
She smiled and waved her hand.
