MidReal Story

The Wolf Queen

Scenario:When Zylara opened her eyes she found herself lying in an open field and naked. What's more she now had a set of wolf ears on her head and a silver tail to match. She also noticed that her nails had become harder, longer, and sharper although she could still pass those as being just an odd cosmetic choice as they looked like they were painted a glossy black. As she got to her feet looking around for anything that she could recognize a pit formed in her stomach as she realized there was simply nothing around that looked man-made. Just as she was about to fall to her knees despair crashing over her like a tsunami she feels a firm but gentle pressure steadying her from behind. A low, deep voice reaches through her despair like a beacon in the dark, "Stay strong little one. You have nothing to fear so long as I am with you. I won't let this place have you. You are far to beautiful and precious for that. What are you called if I may ask?" Her voice steadying and strength returning to her limbs she gives a relieved sigh turning to face her savior, "I am called Zylara, and you have my sincere gratitude." Her eyes widen as she sees the one who had been speaking. He is a massive white wolf she'd around the same size as a small bus, though she can't explain why she feels no fear as she takes in his appearance. The wolf smiled at her not expecting her reaction, "You aren't afraid of me are you? That's good. You have a very beautiful name. I am Fenrir, son of Loki and I will protect you and take you somewhere safe." As he speaks he wrapped a large cloak around her naked form.

I opened my eyes and looked around.
When I saw what was beneath me, I froze.
It wasn't a bed!
It was a field that was covered in snow.
I sat up quickly and looked at my hands; they were black, but it looked like I had just painted my nails with children's black paint.
I looked down at my feet and saw that they were black too.
I felt something on top of my head, and I reached up to feel what it was.
I had wolf ears!
I tilted them and watched as they swiveled on their own.
I moved them around to see how they worked.
Then I looked at my body; it was slimmer and had way more muscle tone than I had ever hoped to have. It was gorgeous. I was absolutely stunning except for the fact I was completely nude and had a tail.
I had a tail!
It was silver, and I could move it on my own.
I stood up, but I fell back down because I wasn't used to it.
As I tried to get back on my feet I felt myself falling again, but this time someone caught me before I hit the ground.
I looked up to see who it was, but he wasn't a 'who'—more like a 'what.'
He was a wolf!
He was huge!
He was as big as a small bus!
I should've been scared, but oddly enough, I wasn't.
He had beautiful white fur, and he seemed to glow in the sun.
The most beautiful thing about him was his eyes—I swear they were like the ocean depths.
The Wolf Queen
I leaned against his fur as I steadied myself in the snow, the cloak he had given me wrapped tightly around my shoulders.
My tail twitched nervously behind me as I looked at him.
He was huge, like a small bus huge.
I couldn't understand why I wasn't scared of him.
His eyes were ocean blue, and they were gentle.
I reached out with my blackened fingers and touched his fur.
It was softer than I had expected, like silk threads woven through clouds.
My wolf ears swiveled forward on my head, catching the sound of his breathing.
"You're awake," he rumbled, his voice deep and resonant, like distant thunder.
"What happened to me?" I asked, my voice trembling with confusion and a hint of fear.
The Wolf Queen
"You've crossed into a different realm and your body will undoubtedly be undergoing various changes to adjust. " he replied, his eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that promised both answers and mysteries yet to be uncovered.
He tilted his massive head to the side as he thought about how to answer my question.
The wind rustled through the grass around us, and I pulled his cloak tighter around my body.
My wolf ears twitched at the unfamiliar sounds—the distant calls of birds I'd never heard before, the soft whisper of leaves in trees that seemed to stretch on forever.
Fenrir lowered himself to the ground, creating a windbreak with his bulk.
"First," he said, "you must learn to move in your new form."
The Wolf Queen
He gestured with his muzzle toward my unsteady legs.
"Try walking to that boulder there."
I took a tentative step forward, my tail automatically shifting to help me balance.
