The White House was turned into a giant escape room by George W. Bush, with world leaders invited to solve puzzles based on international politics.
I came to Washington, D.C., as the delegate for my country in a competition at the White House.
I was selected to represent my country in a global escape room challenge.
This was a unique event organized by former President George W.
Bush, who is also a puzzle enthusiast.
The event was a competition between world leaders and their delegates.
They would be locked inside an escape room designed by Bush, where they needed to complete puzzles that were intricately linked to international politics in order to escape.
The team that managed to unlock all the puzzles and escape the room first would be granted access to the Oval Office for a day.
As the daughter of a diplomat and a seasoned puzzle enthusiast, I was excited to take part in this event.
However, the stakes are high, and the competition is fierce.
It is still uncertain what awaited me when I entered the room, along with my colleagues David Lee and Sophia Rodriguez.
ā€œGood morning, ladies and gentlemen.ā€ A White House security guard greeted everyone when we arrived at the South Lawn.
I recognized him.
He was also assigned to help me during the competition.
ā€œGood morning.ā€ I smiled at him.
The security guards here were all very professional, just like David.
They were one of the best security teams in the world.
Since I had David with me, I didnā€™t really need another guard to be with me.
However, since he was also our guide for this competition, he would be with us all the time until we completed or gave up on these puzzles.
I recognized that Sophia Rodriguez woman from the media.
She was a journalist who covered national and international news.
She wore a white shirt and black pants today, with her long dark hair tied up, giving off an air of elegance.
However, her eyes were sharp and piercing.
She looked around vigilantly, as if she would be able to find any important information at any time.
She nodded at us when she saw us and came over.
ā€œHi, Iā€™m Sophia Rodriguez from the Capitol News.ā€ She introduced herself with a smile.
We shook hands with her.
ā€œHello, Iā€™m Emily Johnson.ā€
Itā€™s nice to meet you.ā€ I said with a smile.
ā€œI read your reports very often.
You have a unique perspective on things.
Itā€™s an honor to meet you today.
ā€œThank you very much.Iā€™m flattered.ā€ She said modestly.
ā€œHow long will the leaders spend here solving the puzzles?ā€
She suddenly asked.
Todayā€™s event was a secret.
It was said that the leaders would be attending a meeting in the White House today.
Only a few people knew that these leaders would actually be solving these puzzles.
The event was really important and secretive.
It was even said that it might affect the international political situation.
Therefore, those leaders could only come here for half a day and solve the puzzles as soon as possible before they went back to their countries and finished what they were supposed to do.
Bush hoped that these leaders would be able to finish the puzzles before they left.
If they failed, Bush would give them more time later on.
