A few weeks ago, the women’s swim team had a swim meet.
The college rugby team was also having a game that day.
When we were done and ready to leave, we found that the rugby team had locked us out of our locker rooms.
We were left standing in the cool air in our skimpy one piece swimsuits.
The suits were wet and clinging to our bodies, showing off every curve we had.
We had wedgies and couldn’t fix them.
We felt objectified and stricken.
We tried to get in to change but found that all of the doors were locked.
The men’s team laughed and teased us as we tried.
They made fun of us and our bodies.
One guy said, "I can see why they are called meat bags. I have never seen so much chunk on display."
Sally, my best friend, had had enough.
She came up with a plan to get them back.
She would not let them get away with treating us like that.
We would get them back for treating us like pieces of meat on display.
"Girls," Sally said as she looked at us standing there, "we can’t let them treat us like that. We need to get them back."
"What are we going to do?"
Emily Carter asked, another member of our team and also my best friend.
She was always so clever and full of great ideas.

"We are going to make them feel like pieces of meat on display," Sally said.
"How are we going to do that?"
I asked.
"We are going to replace their uniforms with ones made of a special dissolvable fabric. Then we will throw water balloons at them during the game."
"What kind of fabric?"
Emily asked.
"I have been doing some research and found a special fabric that dissolves in water. It is used for making fake blood for movies. It is very realistic and will look just like the real thing."
"Where are we going to get it?"
Jessica asked.
"I have already ordered it and it will be here tomorrow."

The next day, Sally came to my dorm room with a big box of the special fabric, scissors, and her sewing machine.
She had also brought the rugby team’s uniform pattern.
Emily traced the pattern onto the fabric while Jessica took measurements from a spare uniform she had stolen from the men’s locker room.
We worked all night cutting out the material and sewing it together.
The fabric felt like cotton between my fingers as I ran the final seams through my sewing machine.
When we were done, we had 22 jerseys and shorts that looked identical to the rugby team’s uniforms.
We folded each one up carefully and put them in a bag. At 5 AM, we snuck into the men’s locker room using a master key I had copied last week.
One by one, we replaced each authentic uniform with our doctored versions.
We hid the originals in my car’s trunk.
The game was at 2 PM that afternoon, and Sally had made 100 water balloons for us to throw at the players during the game.
As soon as they took to the field, Sally started chanting "Speedo! Speedo!" and Emily and Jessica started throwing the water balloons at them.
The crowd watched as our water balloons hit them, causing their uniforms to rip and tear leaving them buck naked on the field.
They ran off into the locker rooms only to find us waiting for them there again.
"Oh no, is the door locked guys?" Sally said looking them up and down lingering on their junk.
"No need to dress up for us girls. Oh wait, that’s right. We sold all your street clothes during the game," she said waving a stack of cash in her hand.

The crowd erupted in laughter, and for the first time, we felt like we had reclaimed our dignity.
I pull my phone from my back pocket and raise it to take a picture.
Emily and Jessica do the same.
The guys instinctively try to cover themselves, but we are too fast.
We snap several pictures as they shuffle against the lockers.
"Smile for the camera, boys," I say.
Thomas tries to hide behind Michael, but Michael lunges forward and knocks him off balance.
Michael stops when Jessica waves her phone at him.
"These would look great on social media," I tell them as I scroll through the pictures.
"Just something to think about next time you want to lock someone out of their locker room."
The guys stay silent, faces red, as we back toward the door.
The Swim Team Prank
"Wait," Thomas finally says, his voice shaky.
"We're sorry, okay? We didn't think it would go this far."
Sally raises an eyebrow, "Maybe next time you'll think twice before treating people like objects."
