Levi Brown 16-years old, boy, blond hair, blue eyes
My name is Levi Brown.
I'm 16-years old.
I have blond hair and blue eyes.
I'm in high school.
I'm in love with my best friend, Madison Bright.
I know what you're thinking.
"Why doesn't he tell her?"
Because I'm scared.
I'm scared because I don't want to lose her as a friend.
I'm scared because she's the hard-to-get-girl.
And I know she'll never like me in that way.
"Hey Mads," I said as I hugged her from behind when we were walking in the hallway of our school and she was unaware that I was behind her and I scared her.
"Oh my god. You scared me," she said as she hit my chest.
"Sowwy," I said as I smiled and looked at her.
She looked beautiful today with her brown hair falling on her shoulders and her brown eyes twinkling like stars when the sun hits them just like now.
She is really smart and pretty.
She is adventurous too.
She loves going to new places and trying new things.
Sometimes she forces me to come with her but I don't mind because it's always fun to be with her even though sometimes we get lost 'cause we're in a place where we've never been before.
"Are you ready for tomorrow?"

I tried to steady my racing heart as we continued walking down the hallway.
Madison's laughter echoed in my ears, a melody I couldn't resist.
"So, what's up for tomorrow?"
Madison asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
I hesitated, the words stuck in my throat.
Confessing seemed like an impossible task.
Instead, I forced a grin and shrugged.
"Maybe we could check out that new café downtown," I suggested, hoping she would take the bait.
Madison nodded enthusiastically, her excitement infectious.
"Sounds like a plan!" she said, nudging me playfully with her elbow.

The next day, we entered the bustling café, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloping us.
Madison scanned the menu, her eyes darting between the various options.
I watched her, trying to muster the courage to speak my mind.
As we approached the counter, a friendly barista with a warm smile greeted us.
"First time here?" he asked, ringing up our order.
I nodded, my palms growing clammy.
"You know," he leaned in closer, "if you like someone, this place is perfect for a heart-to-heart."
His words lingered in the air as Madison found us a table by the window.
I took a deep breath and followed her.
