I was walking to my next class when I saw the sign that caught my attention.
It was a big sign that said, "Welcome to Six Legged Village."
I had been on this campus for a few weeks now, but I had never seen this sign before.
I was curious about what it meant, so I decided to follow the path that the sign was pointing to.
As I walked, I noticed that the houses around me were getting bigger and bigger.
They were all different colors and had different designs, but they all looked like they cost a lot of money.
Suddenly, I heard a voice behind me.
"Hey, what are you doing here?"
I turned around and saw a man with six legs.
"Uh, I was just following this path," I said.
"You shouldn't be here. This is for athletes only."
"Oh, sorry. I didn't know that."
"Well, now you know. You should leave."
"Okay."
I turned around and started walking back the way I came.
The man with six legs called out to me again.
"Hey, what's your name?"
"My name is Dylan Carter."
"Well, Dylan, if you ever need anything, just let me know."
"Thank you."
I kept walking until I was back on familiar ground again.
I made my way to my next class and sat down in my seat.
I couldn't stop thinking about the sign I had seen.
I wondered what it meant, and why it was only for athletes.
I decided that I wanted to learn more about this place, so I decided to go back and see if I could find any answers.
As I walked through the village, I noticed that there were a lot of houses with six legs.
I saw people training in their backyards, and some of them were even practicing wrestling moves on each other.
I saw a group of younger athletes gathered around a man who looked like he was in his mid-30s.
He was demonstrating a complex wrestling move to the group, and they all looked like they were trying to learn from him.
I watched for a few minutes, and then I decided to approach him.
"Excuse me," I said.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I was wondering if you could tell me more about this place."
The man looked at me for a few seconds before he nodded.
"My name is Landon Brooks. What's yours?"
The Six Legged Village
"My name is Dylan Carter."
"Well, Dylan, this is Six Legged Village. It's a community of athletes who have six legs."
"I've never seen anything like this before," I said.
"I'm curious about how you all live together."
Landon looked at me for a few seconds before he nodded.
The Six Legged Village
Landon gestured for me to come closer.
"Come join us and see for yourself."
I hesitated for a moment, but then I walked over to the group.
The younger athletes all looked at me with a mix of curiosity and skepticism.
I could tell that they were wondering what I was doing there, and I couldn't blame them.
I was an outsider, after all.
Landon showed me some of the wrestling moves that he had been teaching the group, and then he asked me if I wanted to try it.
I nodded, and he showed me how to do the move.
It was harder than it looked, and I struggled to get it right.
The younger athletes all chuckled at my attempts, but Landon encouraged me to keep trying.
After a few minutes, Marcus came over and stood next to me.
He grinned at me and said, "You're doing great, Dylan. Just keep practicing and you'll get the hang of it."
The Six Legged Village
I smiled back at him and continued to practice the move.
As I did, I noticed that Marcus was watching me closely.
He seemed like he was trying to figure out what made me tick, and I wondered what he was thinking. Landon walked over to us and said, "Good job, Dylan. You're getting better every time you try it."
I smiled at him and said, "Thanks. It's definitely not easy."
Landon nodded sympathetically.
"I know it can be tough. But you're doing great. Keep practicing and you'll be able to do it in no time."
Marcus nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, just keep practicing and you'll get the hang of it."
I smiled again, feeling a sense of accomplishment wash over me.
I knew that with practice and determination, I could do anything I set my mind to.
And with Landon and Marcus's help, I knew that I would be able to master this wrestling move in no time.
As we continued to practice, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to learn from these two talented athletes.
They were both incredibly skilled in their respective sports, and they were willing to share their knowledge with me.
It was clear that they were passionate about their work and were eager to help others succeed.
As we finished up our practice session, Landon turned to me and said, "You know Dylan, you're not like most people who come here. You have a certain... determination in your eyes. It's admirable."
I smiled at him gratefully.
