It was a dark and stormy night in Disneyland.
I, Mickey Mouse, was walking around my castle when I heard a strange noise.
It sounded like something was breaking.
I went to check it out, but I was too scared to do it alone.
I called my best friend Goofy to help me.
"Goofy, I need your help. There is something breaking stuff in the park."
"What?"
Goofy asked.
"I don't know yet. That's why I need your help."
"Ok," Goofy said.
"I'll meet you at the front gate in five minutes."
I walked to the front gate and waited for Goofy.
When he showed up, I said, "Let's go," and we started walking toward the noise.
As we got closer, it stopped, and we didn't hear anything else.
"Hey Goofy, do you think it was just our imagination?"
I asked.
"I don't think so," Goofy said.
"I heard it too."
We continued walking around the park until we came across Elsa and Anna from Arendelle.
"Hey guys, what's going on here?"
Anna asked.
"We don't know yet. That's why we are looking."
I said.
"We heard a strange noise coming from over here."
Elsa added.
"What kind of noise?"
Anna asked.
"It sounded like something was breaking."
Goofy said.
"We should check it out," Elsa said.
The Secret of Disneyland
I led our little group down Main Street.
The only sound was the wind and our footsteps.
I tried to keep my voice low so we could hear any other noises.
"There is a trail of popcorn on the ground, and it looks like some of the souvenir stands have been knocked over."
Goofy tripped over a trash can that had been knocked over.
Anna jumped when he fell.
Elsa made a small glowing snowflake to light our way since all of the lights were out.
As we passed by the shops, they were all dark.
The only light came from the moon.
We heard the sound of breaking glass coming from near the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The Secret of Disneyland
I motioned for everyone to stop and pressed myself against the wall of the Emporium.
We waited and watched as a shadow moved across the windows of the castle.
Goofy's teeth started chattering loudly, and I had to shush him.
"Did you see that shadow, Mickey?" whispered Elsa, her eyes wide with concern.
"Yeah, but it looked familiar," I replied, trying to piece together the mystery.
Anna leaned closer and said, "What if it's someone we know causing all this chaos?"
I motioned for everyone to stay quiet as we edged along the wall toward the castle entrance.
The broken glass crunched under our feet, even though we tried to step as quietly as possible.
Goofy's teeth chattered so loudly that I had to shush him twice.
Elsa's magical snowflake cast eerie shadows on the castle's stone walls, making the ordinary decorations look menacing.
As we reached the massive wooden doors, I noticed deep claw marks gouged into the wood.
The Secret of Disneyland
Anna gasped behind me, and from inside the castle, we heard more glass breaking.
My hand trembled slightly as I reached for the door handle, but I forced myself to grasp it firmly.
I slowly turn the handle and push the heavy door open.
The hinges creak loudly, making us all wince.
The musty castle air hits us in the face as we huddle in the doorway.
Elsa's snowflake floats ahead of us, illuminating the entrance hall.
We see overturned furniture and shattered mirrors scattered across the floor.
Goofy clutches my shoulder so tightly that I almost fall over when something crashes in the throne room to our left.
We inch forward, our footsteps echoing on the marble floor.
Anna points to massive wet footprints leading toward the noise.
I'm about to suggest we follow them when the whole castle seems to shake beneath our feet.
A deafening roar blasts through the halls, sending us stumbling backward.
The Secret of Disneyland
Elsa steadied herself and whispered urgently, "That roar... it sounds like Marshmallow, but why would he be here?"
Goofy gulped and added, "Maybe he's upset about something, or someone made him angry."
Anna's eyes widened with realization, "What if someone brought him here to cause a distraction while they do something else?"
