The Secret Notes

Create my version of this story
The sun streams through the large windows of the room, making it a painful task to uncover the hidden treasure.
I push aside the large cardboard boxes that are still unpacked.
My mom said I had to put the plant in the sun so it gets its food.
So here it is, in the middle of the room, getting its daily dose of vitamin D.
I walk closer to it and notice its thin branches and small leaves.
It looks like it's dying, as if it hasn't been watered in a while.
I bend down to touch its roots and suddenly, something catches my eye.
A thin piece of paper stuck between its branches.
I pick it up, curiosity getting the better of me.
It's folded into a small square and I can see something written on it.
I unfold it and my heart skips a beat.
It's a note from him, written in his handwriting:
"Meet me at the old oak tree when the sun sets. Come alone."
The words dance on the page, taunting me.
I turn the note over but there's nothing on the back.
No signature, no nothing.
Just those words staring back at me.
I look around the room, as if I'm expecting to see him hiding behind one of the boxes.
It's ridiculous, I know.
But I can't help feeling like I'm in some kind of adventure movie.
