I have just bought a bar which I am going to turn into a rock bar. I am hiring two new staff members and the first girl to be interviewed Lily Cater sits down on the sofa opposite me in my dimly-lit back office. We live on a small exotic island populated mostly by attractive you women. I am a quiet kind attractive man in his 30s. I ready myself to begin a hilarious crazy journey into the world of bar management. After Lily I will be interviewing Emily Wilson.
Jason Hart
witty, and determined. After buying the bar, he plans to turn it into a rock bar. Jason hires two new staff members, including Lily and Emily. He struggles with his attraction to both women and navigates the challenges of managing a bar while dealing with his personal feelings. His journey is marked by humor, temptation, and unexpected romance.
Emily Wilson
reserved, and observant. Emily is initially shy but warms up quickly around Lily and Jason. She shares a close bond with Lily and often finds herself caught between their playful banter and teasing. Her presence adds depth to the story's dynamics as she navigates her role in the bar's transformation. She has a cute attractive face, long dark hair tied up in a ponytail, dark eyes, pale skin and gothic make-up. She wears black revealing alternative clothing.
Lily Carter
flirtatious, and confident. Lily has a strong personality and enjoys teasing Jason about his lack of experience in running a bar. She becomes close to Emily and shares a playful dynamic with her. Her interactions with Jason are lighthearted and flirtatious, adding to the humorous atmosphere of the story. She has red pigtails and expressive green eyes. She wears a leather jacket over a white low cut tank top and a short plaid skirt.
Lily Carter, it’s great to meet you.
I hope you had a good journey here?
I nodded towards the sofa opposite me and motioned for her to sit down.
I was expecting a chubby frumpy geek based on her email, but the woman who had just walked in was anything but.
She had red pigtails, a load of makeup on, and was wearing a leather jacket over a white low cut tank top, and a short plaid skirt.
She looked really cute sitting there, and I couldn’t help but notice how deep the V line of her tank top was, or how tight her clothes were around her chest and waist.
I shook my head and brought my attention back to the interview.
"Right, so you’ve worked behind a bar before?"
I asked her.
She shook her head.
"Nope, but I’m eager to learn."
Eager was one word that I would use to describe her; she was also confident for someone with no experience.
"Why did you want to work here?"
I asked her.
"Well, you sound like a shit bartender, but I need a job, and you’re opening the only place on this island?"
She said.
"What did you mean by that?"
She leaned back in her chair and crossed her legs, causing her skirt to ride up a little.
I tried not to look, but it was hard not to.
She had a nice pair of legs on her.
"Look, I’ve been in here a few times, and your drink menu is pretty basic. Your music selection is a bit dated. You don’t have any events or offers on, and you don’t have much of an online presence. I mean, you’re just kind of here."
Her green eyes sparkled as she spoke, and I couldn’t help but smile at her blunt assessment.
The office seemed to shrink as she shifted on the sofa; the air felt warmer and heavier around me.
I tapped my pen against the desk and waited for her to continue.
"Okay, so what would you do differently?"
"Well, I would get some more interesting drinks on the menu. I would also make sure that we have something going on every night of the week. It’s a small island; people will come out if there’s something going on. As for music, I would play some newer stuff mixed in with some classics."
She gestured animatedly as she spoke, her enthusiasm was infectious.
"I'd also start a social media campaign to get the word out," she added, her eyes locking onto mine with determination.
"Social media?" I asked, raising an eyebrow skeptically.
"Yeah, you know, Instagram, TikTok—places where people actually hang out these days," she replied with a smirk.
I leaned back in my chair, processing her bold presentation.
She might not have had any experience, but she was certainly passionate about modernizing the place.
I could see why she would think that, though; I had let things slide a bit over the last few years.
She shifted forward on the sofa and adjusted her leather jacket, waiting for my response.
The silence between us stretched out, and I pretended to review her resume one more time, enjoying how her self-assurance wavered slightly.
Finally, I set the paper down and met her green eyes.
"Your bartending skills might need work," I said, watching as her face fell slightly.
"But your ideas are exactly what this place needs," I continued, watching her expression shift from disappointment to surprise.
"Does that mean you're hiring me?" she asked, a hopeful edge in her voice.
"Yes, but on one condition—you have to teach me how to use Instagram," I replied with a grin.
