"Get out of my room!"
The words flew out of my mouth before I could second guess myself.
I had been in shock ever since I walked in the door and found the last person on earth that I wanted to see sitting on my bed.
"What are you talking about?"
Ethan asked, looking up from his phone.
He looked confused, like he had no idea what I was talking about at all.
As if he didn’t remember that we were at the same conference and had a huge falling out yesterday afternoon.
As if he didn’t know that he was the last person on earth that I would want to share a room with.
"This," I said, throwing my hand up to indicate the room.
"The bedroom.
It’s mine.
Not yours.
"Again, confusion was written all over his face.
He looked around the room as if he had never seen it before, as if he didn’t remember putting down his bags ten seconds ago when I walked in the door.
"What are you talking about? The room is mine."
