Marl Alexander Riendeaux.
That was all I knew about myself when I stepped off the plane at Charles de Gaulle Airport.
No memories of my past, no understanding of where I was going, or why—only my name.
I had hoped that once I arrived in Paris, my memories would return, but so far that hadn’t happened.
I looked around at the bustling airport, but everyone’s faces were unfamiliar.
Had I even been to Paris before?
Was this a return trip for me or was it all new?
I had no idea.
As I made my way through customs, I wondered if someone was meeting me at the gate.
If I had a mission to complete, surely someone would be there to greet me and give me more information about what I was supposed to do.
My mission commander had told me that I would learn more once I arrived in the city, but so far, no one had met me.
Perhaps they were waiting outside the airport.
I looked around cautiously as I walked through the crowded terminal, but everyone’s faces were still unfamiliar.
"Marl Alexander Riendeaux?"
I stopped abruptly as I heard my name called.
A tall, beautiful woman stood in front of me, dressed elegantly in a red skirt and white blouse.
Her hair was long and golden, with a subtle wave down her back.
