May 20, 2029, Beijing, China.
After class, I stayed in the classroom for a while.
When I came out of the classroom, I was the only one left.
The hall was empty and the blackboard in the front of the hall was filled with notes from the last class.
The only life in the hall was the Chinese national flag—the five-starred red banner—hanging on the wall behind me.
I turned my body around and suddenly felt a strong electric current going through my body.
The next thing I knew was that I had a strong tingling sensation going through my body.
The flag behind me lit up and shone brightly in the hall.
I felt myself being lifted off the ground and going through a strong bright light.
The flag on the wall began to shake and tear apart.
The red color of the flag mixed with the white color of the flag to create a pinkish color that splashed in the hall.
The blue color of the sky outside of the hall mixed with the pinkish color in the hall to create strange visual effects.
Suddenly, I heard a loud "Bang!"
I felt myself being blown back to the ground.
The bright light disappeared and everything in the hall went back to normal again.
My heart was still racing.
I leaned my body against the desk and tried to steady myself.
The fluorescent lights in the hall were still flickering above my head.
I ran my trembling hands along my arms to see if I had any burns or cuts on my body.
Nothing hurt, but something was different.
I was no longer wearing my school uniform.
Instead, I was wearing a skintight red costume with golden stars on it.
My hands were covered by sleek red gloves that fit perfectly around my fingers.
I flexed my fingers to test the material of the gloves.
It felt smooth and foreign against my skin.

I stood up straight and looked at myself through the reflection in the classroom window.
The setting sun cast long shadows across my new form, highlighting the hammer and sickle emblem on my chest.
A red cape flowed behind me, its fabric shimmering with an otherworldly glow. I took a tentative step forward, feeling the weight of the boots on my feet.
They were knee-high and had a slight heel, making me feel taller than before.
The soles were thick and sturdy, giving me a sense of stability as I moved.
As I walked closer to the window, I could see the details of my costume more clearly.
The fabric was smooth and shiny, like silk or latex, but it felt lighter and more flexible than either of those materials.
"Li Wei, is that you?" a voice called out from the shadows of the hallway.
I turned to see Mei, her eyes wide with disbelief.
"What happened to you? You look like... like one of those heroes from the old propaganda films!"
The Red Star Of The People's Republic Of China
Disoriented from the transformation, I stumbled towards the full-length mirror in the classroom.
My boots clicked against the floor tiles, echoing through the empty hall.
I stopped in front of the mirror, and my reflection stared back at me—a stranger in a skintight red costume.
The five golden stars shone across my chest, and the hammer and sickle emblem pulsed with an inner light.
I tugged at the fabric of the costume, but it stretched and snapped back like rubber.
I tried to remove the gloves, but they seemed fused to my skin.
Panic set in as I grabbed a pair of scissors from the teacher's desk and attempted to cut through the material.
But the blades couldn't penetrate it.
"Li Wei, stop!" Mei shouted, rushing forward to grab my arm.
Her grip was firm, and her eyes were filled with urgency.

"You need to understand—this isn't just a costume; it's a part of you now."
I slumped into a desk chair, my gloved hands shaking as I processed Mei's words.
The fluorescent lights above us cast an artificial glow, reflecting off the metallic stars on my chest and the boots on my feet.
Mei sat across from me, her voice filled with conviction.
"Think about it, Li Wei. If you could take this costume off so easily, then it wouldn't be special. It wouldn't mean anything."
I ran my fingers along the hammer and sickle emblem, feeling its warmth pulsing in sync with my heartbeat.
The Red Star Of The People's Republic Of China
The cape settled around my shoulders like a protective embrace.
As I stood up, the costume moved naturally with me, no longer feeling foreign or restrictive.
I walked to the window and looked out at the cityscape of Beijing.
The skyline shimmered with possibility, and I knew I had a new purpose.
I stand at the window, watching the sun set behind the towering skyscrapers of Beijing.
The sky is painted with hues of orange and pink, a breathtaking backdrop for the city's bustling streets.
As I gaze out at the breathtaking view, a strange tingling sensation begins to spread across my skin.
It starts from the hammer and sickle emblem on my chest, radiating outward like ripples in a pond.
The tight red fabric of my costume begins to shimmer and ripple, like waves across a crimson sea.
I press my gloved hands against the glass, feeling the coolness seep through the material.
As I watch, mesmerized, the costume begins to lose its rigid form.
The cape that once flowed majestically behind me becomes lighter and more translucent.
My boots soften and shrink, no longer encasing my feet in their protective embrace.
The stars on my chest dim one by one, until only a faint glow remains.
The Red Star Of The People's Republic Of China
And then, in an instant, it's gone.
I gasp as the transformation releases its hold on me, leaving me standing in my regular school uniform.
Walking down the empty hallway in my school uniform, I hear the distant echo of footsteps ahead.
My heart quickens as I round the corner, and five figures come into view.
They're students, dressed in costumes identical to the one I had just shed.
Their red suits gleam under the fluorescent lights, and the golden stars and hammer-and-sickle emblems shimmer on their chests.
Their boots click against the floor in unison as they approach.
The Red Star Of The People's Republic Of China
I feel the familiar tingling sensation spread from my chest, like a spark igniting within me.
The transformation begins once more, this time without warning or control.
My school clothes morph into the tight red costume, and the cape unfurls behind me like a crimson banner.
My heart pounds as the five students stop a few meters away.
Their faces are stern but expectant as they study my transformed appearance.
The hammer and sickle on my chest pulses warmly, almost urging me forward.
The hallway seems charged with an electric tension, and our capes flutter in unison from an unseen breeze.
The tallest student, a girl with sharp features and piercing eyes, extends her hand toward me.
The golden stars on her chest shimmer under the fluorescent lights.
After a moment of hesitation, my boots click against the floor as I move closer.
"Welcome back, Li Wei," she says, her voice steady and commanding.
I nod, feeling the weight of her gaze.
"You're one of us now, and together, we have a mission to fulfill."
