Getting my car stuck in the mud was a regular occurrence for me.
I would say every six weeks, I had a incident.
It happened so often, Jason would just laugh when I called him.
The last time, he showed up with a tow truck and a camera.
He said he wanted to capture the moment for prosperity.
I was wearing my usual heels and skirt.
I didn’t even flinch when I got out of the car and walked the rest of the way.
The mud squished up between my toes, but I didn’t care.
I reached the end of the driveway and turned to look at my poor vehicle.
It was buried to the axle.
The tires were spinning hopelessly as usual.
Jason snapped a picture and then came to give me a hug.
"I should have known better than to come out here without a tow truck."
"You should have," I said.
"It’s becoming a monthly affair."
"At least it gives you something to blog about," he said.
My crush, Tiffany Wilson, was also a realtor.
She enjoyed reading my blogs almost as much as buying and selling houses.
I wished Jason would take a picture of her stuck in the mud.
That I would pay money to see.
Maybe I could figure out a way to make it happen.
I had a listing appointment that morning with Tiffany.
As soon as Jason pulled my car from the muck, I drove home to change.
I didn’t want anything to distract from my cleavage or mid-thigh skirt.

When Tiffany arrived, I had a proposition for her.
"I have a place I want to show you. It’s not far from here."
She looked at me curiously.
"Okay, let’s go."
I drove us to the spot where my car was stuck.
It was just down the road from my house.
I pulled over and got out.
Tiffany followed suit.
"This is the place?"
She looked around at the empty countryside.
I nodded and pointed to a spot in the road.
"My car has been stuck there three times."
The Realtor Who Got Stuck
She laughed.
"I can’t believe it."
"Want to see?"
I asked mischievously.
She looked intrigued.
"Sure."
"Let’s see whose car gets stuck first," I said with a grin.
She looked hesitant for a moment and then nodded her head.
"Okay, but if I get stuck, you have to pull me out."
I held up my hand like I was taking an oath.
"I promise."
We got in our cars and started them up.
Tiffany rolled down her window and laughed, "You know this is crazy, right?"
I smirked back at her, "Crazy is just another word for memorable."
As we revved our engines, she shouted over the noise, "If I win, you owe me dinner at that fancy new place downtown!"

I floored it.
My car lurched forward and got stuck first, just as I planned.
I put it in park and got out.
My heels sank into the mud as I walked to the side of the road.
Tiffany was laughing at me.
She drove her car to the same spot and revved her engine.
Her tires spun, but didn’t catch.
She tried again, but still didn’t budge.
I laughed at her predicament.
She glanced over at me with a mixture of frustration and humor on her face.
I walked over to her window and said, "Want some help pulling you out?"
She shook her head, "No, I’ve got this."

She backed up and revved her engine again.
I watched as she tried to get traction, but it was no use.
