I am Adsila.
I loved Mono.
Yes, Mono from Little Nightmares 2.
I loved everything about that game.
But most of all, I had to say that I LOVED Mono.
I mean, who wouldn't?
He was just so adorable and sweet looking.
Whenever I found a picture or a video of him, I would save it instantly.
I just couldn't help myself!
He was too cute for me to not save it.
Most people at my school thought that I was crazy and obsessed with him.
They told me that he wasn't real and that I should just get over it already!
But I didn't care!
I knew that he was real!
And no matter how much they told me otherwise, I just didn't care!
I still believed that he was real and that's all that mattered to me!
So when I got home from school one day, I went straight to my room and turned on my PS4.
I put the LN 2 disc in and waited for the loading screen to load up.
Whenever I played this game, I always got overly excited!
Not only because it was such a good game...
But because I got to control Mono!
That made me happy more than anything else!
When the loading screen came up, however, it didn't load further.
It just stayed there on the screen.
At first, I didn't think much of it.
I just thought it was my internet acting up.
I sat there, eyes glued to the screen, not wanting to give up on seeing Mono.
I mean, I just wanted to see him!
But the screen didn't change.
It just stayed there.
So I waited a little longer.
But still, it didn't change.
I started to get a little annoyed at this point.
I mean, what was going on?!
Was my internet acting up again?
I sighed and tapped impatiently on the controller.
Come on...
Load already!
But still, nothing happened.
The screen stayed the same.
Then suddenly, I heard static coming from my TV.
It buzzed in my ears and made me flinch slightly.
I didn't like the sound of static at all!
It hurt my ears!
But still, I waited for the game to load.
The static got louder and louder until it was almost unbearable.
But then suddenly... it stopped.
And then... a face appeared on the screen.
It was Mono's face!
He looked so clear and real that I could hardly believe it!
His hand reached out again and this time... I didn't hesitate.
I reached out and grasped his hand firmly in mine. It felt warm and soft in my fingers and I couldn't help but smile at him a little bit.
Then with a gentle tug, he came through the screen and stood before me in his olive trench coat.
I pulled him through the screen and he landed on my floor.
He looked around my room, his eyes searching for something familiar.
His eyes were hidden beneath the paper bag, but I could tell that they were looking around.
I reached out and touched his coat.
It was rough beneath my fingers.
He tilted his head slightly, as if asking a question.
I couldn't help but grin at him and pull him into a hug.
His arms wrapped around me hesitantly at first, then more securely.
I couldn't believe that he was here!
I stepped back and took his hand in mine, leading him to the window.
"This is your new world," I whispered, watching as his eyes scanned the view outside.
Mono turned to me, his voice soft yet curious, "Is this where you come from?"
I nodded, feeling a rush of excitement, "Yes, and there's so much I want to show you."
He hesitated for a moment before asking, "But why did you bring me here?"
I smiled, my eyes shining with excitement, "Because I wanted to show you the world. And I wanted to show you me."
His eyes widened at my words, his grip on my hand tightening.
I led him to the desk cluttered with Little Nightmares memorabilia.
He examined each item with curiosity, his fingers tracing over the pictures and figurines of himself.
I watched him, feeling a mix of pride and excitement.
"This is all you," I said, gesturing to the collection.
Mono turned to me, his expression unreadable beneath the paper bag.
Slowly, he removed it, revealing his dark eyes that seemed to search mine for answers.
His voice was barely above a whisper, "Why do you care so much about me?"
I took a deep breath, my heart pounding, "Because you showed me courage when I felt small and lost."
Mono's eyes softened, and he nodded slowly, "Then maybe I can learn from you too."
We sat cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by the Little Nightmares memories.
I picked up the figurine of him and held it out, a grin spreading across my face.
He took it, his fingers brushing over the tiny details.
As he examined it, his expression shifted from curiosity to something deeper.
He looked up, meeting my gaze, and I felt a warmth spread through me.
Our hands found each other naturally, fingers interlocking.
"You mean more to me than these memories," I whispered, leaning closer.
Mono's voice was gentle, yet filled with a newfound determination, "Then let's make new ones together."
I nodded, feeling a sense of belonging I hadn't known before, "Yes, let's explore this world and create our own story."
He smiled, a genuine warmth in his eyes, "I'm ready if you are."
I took his hands and spun him around my room, his olive trench coat swirling.
He laughed, a sound that filled me with joy.
We moved between my desk and bed, his eyes wide with wonder at the familiar yet new surroundings.
I showed him my posters and books, explaining each one.
He nodded, absorbing it all.
As we twirled, his grip tightened, protective and reassuring.
We stopped near the window, both of us breathless.
I pointed outside, eager to show him more.
Mono smiled, ready to explore further.
Mono glanced at the window, then back at me, "What's out there waiting for us?"
I squeezed his hand, feeling the thrill of adventure, "Everything we've ever imagined and more."
His eyes sparkled with anticipation, "Then let's not waste another moment."
I led him out of my room, his hand firmly in mine.
We walked down the quiet street, my voice singing out into the night.
The cool air brushed against us as we moved, Mono's eyes scanning the surroundings with a mix of curiosity and caution.
We passed beneath a flickering streetlight, and I laughed, twirling around.
He watched me, a small smile on his lips.
I stopped, pointing towards the distant city lights.
"The nightlife is where the magic happens," I said, my voice filled with excitement.
Mono nodded, his grip loosening slightly as he took in the new world.
We strolled beneath the dim glow of streetlights, Mono's hand still in mine.
The night air was crisp, carrying distant sounds of the city.
As we walked, the buildings gave way to an open park.
The grass glistened with dew under the moonlight.
I turned to Mono, his eyes reflecting the stars above.
"Let's dance under the stars," I whispered, feeling a thrill of anticipation.
He hesitated for a moment, then nodded slowly.
I took a step back, pulling him gently into a slow dance.
Mono's voice was soft, almost hesitant, "I've never danced before."
I smiled reassuringly, "That's okay, just follow my lead."
He nodded, his movements tentative but growing more confident with each step.
We moved to the rhythm of my favorite song, the lyrics echoing in my mind.
The stars shone above us, casting a magical glow over the park.
I twirled him beneath the moonlight, his eyes never leaving mine.
As we danced, Mono's grip on my hand tightened, a sign of his growing comfort.
His movements became more fluid, mirroring mine with an ease that surprised me.
The night air was cool against our skin as we continued to sway under the stars.
I twirled him once more, and he spun beneath the moonlight.
His coat fluttered behind him like a shadow.
When we stopped, I smiled softly, meeting his gaze.
He mirrored my smile, his eyes shining with excitement.
I leaned in, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Let's make more memories together."
We twirled once more beneath the park's moonlight, our laughter echoing through the night.
The world around us faded as we danced, the rhythm of my song guiding our movements.
Mono's steps were hesitant at first, but soon matched mine.
The cool night air brushed against us as we moved, his grip on my hand tightening with each spin.
I pointed towards the distant city lights, explaining the magic of the nightlife.
We paused for a moment, both of us breathless from our dance.
Then I suggested we never stop dancing, and Mono smiled, his eyes reflecting the stars above.
I pulled him closer, ready to dance until dawn.
We strolled through the quiet streets, the night air cool against our skin.
The stars twinkled above us, casting a magical glow over the city.
I led Mono to a nearby park, the grass glistening with dew under the moonlight.
We stood beneath the stars, and I began to sing softly, "Had to have high, high hopes for a living!"
My voice echoed through the night, echoing off the surrounding trees.
I twirled him beneath the moonlight, pulling him into a dance.
Mono watched me, then mimicked my steps.
At first, his movements were hesitant, but soon they became more fluid.
We laughed as we spun together, our hands clasped tightly.
I sang louder, my voice carrying through the night, "Shooting for the stars when I couldn't make a killing!"
Mono's smile widened as he joined in, our voices blending together in perfect harmony.
Mono's voice was soft, filled with newfound confidence, "I never thought I'd be singing under the stars."
I grinned, feeling a warmth spread through me, "There's a first time for everything, right?"
He nodded, his eyes reflecting the moonlight, "With you, everything feels possible."
We continued to stroll through the night, the stars twinkling above us.
The air was crisp and cool, carrying the scent of blooming flowers.
We reached a small park, and I led Mono to a bench beneath a tree.
I rummaged through my bag, pulling out an air-trumpet.
I puffed my cheeks and blew hard, mimicking the sound of a trumpet.
Mono's eyes widened, then he burst into laughter, his shoulders shaking.
I continued to play the air-trumpet, mimicking the rhythm of our dance.
We twirled beneath the dim lights, his hand guiding mine.
Mono watched, his eyes shining with amusement.
Our steps moved in perfect sync, the rhythm of our song filling the air.
He copied my movements, awkwardly at first, then with growing confidence.
I sang, "And wherever it takes me, I'm down for the ride!"
We moved to the beat of our imaginary song, our steps syncing together.
Mono smiled, spinning me faster as we danced across the park.
I laughed as he twirled me, his grip firm yet gentle.
Our laughter echoed through the night, carrying on the cool breeze.
We danced across the park, the cool night air brushing against us.
I caught my breath, watching as his eyes sparkled with joy.
Mono's smile widened as he pulled me closer, our laughter echoing through the night.
He pulled me closer, and we continued our dance, our steps perfectly in sync.
Mono's voice was filled with wonder, "I've never felt so free before."
Mono's voice was soft, filled with curiosity, "Do you always sing like this when you're happy?"
I grinned, feeling a rush of joy, "That's what this world is all about—freedom and endless possibilities."
I nodded, a grin spreading across my face, "It's how I celebrate the little moments."
He nodded, his eyes reflecting the starlight, "Then let's keep exploring and see what else we can find."
He chuckled, his eyes reflecting the starlight, "Then let's make sure we have plenty to celebrate."
I led him back to my room, the speakers still playing a lively tune.
"Baby, don't you know I'm good? Yeah, I'm feelin' alright!"
I sang, swaying to the rhythm.
Mono blushed at the lyrics but joined me, his steps hesitant at first.
We danced around my room, his hand in mine.
I grinned, encouraging him with a smile.
He started to sing along, his voice soft yet growing confident.
We twirled together, our laughter filling the space.
I grabbed his hands, pulling him into a spin.
We danced beneath the soft glow of my room's lights, the music pulsing through us.
We twirled around my bed, our laughter echoing off the walls.
I sang, "We never call it a night. 'Cause we gon' dance 'til we die!"
Mono mimicked the lyrics, his voice growing stronger with each repetition.
We stumbled over my Little Nightmares posters, laughing even harder.
I guided him in a playful dip, his eyes shining with joy.
We collapsed onto my bed, still holding hands and breathless from our dance.
I led him to my room, the music from my speakers filling the space.
"Had to have high, high hopes for a living!" I sang, twirling around.
Mono watched, his eyes wide with curiosity.
I grabbed his hands, guiding him into a simple dance step.
He mimicked my movements, his steps hesitant at first but soon syncing with mine.
We laughed as he stumbled over a poster on the floor, catching himself on my desk.
I spun him around, and he grinned, his confidence growing.
I grabbed his hands, spinning him around my room.
"Shooting for the stars when I couldn't make a killing!"
I sang, twirling him faster.
He mimicked my movements, his steps becoming more fluid.
We danced past my desk, knocking over a stack of Little Nightmares posters.
I laughed, pulling him closer as I continued, "Didn't have a dime, but I always had a vision!"
Mono's eyes lit up with understanding, and he joined in, singing, "Always had high, high hopes!"
We collapsed onto my bed, still holding hands and grinning from ear to ear.
I turned to him, his eyes shining with joy.
I pointed towards the ceiling, where I had stuck glow-in-the-dark stars.
"Those are my stars," I whispered, "Reminding me of our dance under the real ones."
Mono reached up, trying to touch them.
His fingers brushed against the plastic, and I laughed, grabbing his hand and guiding it back down.
We lay there, staring at the stars, and I told him stories about constellations.
He listened intently, his hand squeezing mine gently.
Mono turned to me, his voice filled with wonder, "Do you think we'll ever reach those stars for real?"
I smiled softly, squeezing his hand in return, "Maybe not physically, but in our own way, we already have."
His eyes met mine, a newfound determination in them, "Then let's keep reaching higher together."
I led him to the kitchen, where my mom had left breakfast on the table.
I pulled out a chair for him, and he sat, watching me intently as I spread jam on toast.
He mimicked my movements, and I grinned, guiding his hand gently.
We ate in comfortable silence, occasionally exchanging soft glances.
After breakfast, I showed him how to wash dishes, standing behind him and correcting his movements.
He turned to me, his eyes meeting mine, a small smile playing on his lips.
We sat at the breakfast table, our hands brushing as we reached for the cereal.
He glanced at me shyly, a smile spreading across his face.
I smiled back, feeling a flutter in my chest.
We talked about the stars we had seen last night, and I suggested visiting the planetarium after school.
He nodded eagerly, his eyes lighting up with excitement.
We walked to school together, his hand holding mine tighter than usual.
At lunch, we sat close, sharing a sandwich and talking softly.
He asked curious questions about Earth's food, and I laughed at his reactions.
We walked back to my room, the sun setting behind us.
I led him to my bed, and we sat together, watching the stars glow-in-the-dark above.
He reached for my hand, intertwining our fingers gently.
I leaned closer, our faces inches apart, his eyes searching mine.
Slowly, I pressed my lips to his, feeling the warmth of his skin.
He responded, his hand cupping my cheek.
We pulled back, smiling shyly.
I traced the outline of his face, memorizing every detail.
"Adsila?" he whispered, his voice barely audible.
"Yes?"
I replied softly.
He leaned closer, his voice filled with longing, "Can we always be this close?"
I kissed the tip of his nose, feeling the warmth of his breath.
He smiled, his eyes searching mine for reassurance.
"Of course. Only if you want to."
He nodded, his hand squeezing mine gently.
We sat on my bed, the glow-in-the-dark stars casting a soft light around us.
He leaned closer, his forehead resting against mine.
I traced the outline of his face, feeling the contours under my fingertips.
"Adsila?" he whispered again, his voice a soft plea.
"Yes?"
I replied, leaning closer.
He looked into my eyes, his gaze searching for something.
I could feel the warmth of his breath on my skin, sending a shiver down my spine.
We sat there in silence, our hands intertwined, watching the stars twinkling above us.
The room was filled with an air of anticipation, as if the world had paused to witness this moment between us.
I leaned closer, my heart pounding in my chest.
His eyes locked onto mine, filled with a mix of curiosity and longing.
He reached out a hand and gently brushed a strand of hair behind my ear.
The touch sent a wave of warmth through me, and I closed my eyes, savoring the sensation. He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against mine ever so softly.
I opened my eyes to find his gaze locked onto mine, filled with a deep emotion that resonated deeply within me.
Our lips touched again, this time with a gentle pressure that sent shivers down my spine.
The world around us melted away, leaving only the two of us in this intimate moment.
As we kissed, I felt a sense of connection unlike anything I had ever experienced before.
It was as if our souls were intertwining, creating a bond that transcended words and time.
The kiss deepened, becoming more passionate and all-consuming.
Our lips moved in perfect sync, exploring each other with a sense of urgency that bordered on desperation.
Time seemed to stand still as we lost ourselves in this moment of pure bliss. The room around us was bathed in a soft golden light that seemed to emanate from our very own bodies.
The stars above twinkled like diamonds against the dark sky, adding an ethereal beauty to this already magical scene.
As we continued to kiss, I felt myself becoming one with him on a level that went beyond mere physical attraction.
We lay on my bed, our fingers still intertwined, the glow-in-the-dark stars casting a soft light above us.
He turned to me, his eyes searching mine, and I felt a flutter in my chest.
We kissed again, slow and tender, exploring the newness of our closeness.
I leaned closer, my lips still touching his, prolonging the kiss.
His hand moved to the back of my neck, pulling me gently closer.
I could feel the warmth of his breath on my skin, steady and reassuring.
My fingers traced the collar of his trench coat, feeling the softness of the fabric.
We stayed like this, lost in the moment, with the world outside fading into the background.
His other hand found mine, squeezing it gently.
I opened my eyes briefly, seeing his closed as he focused on our connection.
I leaned into him, deepening the kiss.
His hand cupped my cheek, pulling me closer.
The touch was both tender and firm, sending shivers down my spine.
Our lips moved in perfect sync, our breath mingling together.
The room was silent except for the soft sounds we made as we kissed.
His other hand found mine, fingers intertwining tightly.
I shifted slightly, pressing against him, feeling his heartbeat quicken.
The kiss continued, unhurried and intense, as if time itself had slowed down for us alone.
I traced the outline of his jaw with my thumb, savoring every moment of this closeness.
I pulled back, my breath heavy, and whispered, "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love..."
He silenced me with another kiss, his lips soft against mine.
We lay on my bed, our hands still intertwined, staring at the glow-in-the-dark stars above.
I traced the lines of his face, feeling the warmth of his skin.
He smiled softly, his eyes filled with affection.
We stayed like that for a while, lost in the moment, until I whispered again, "I love you."
Mono's voice was soft, filled with a newfound certainty, "I've never felt this way before."
I smiled, feeling my heart swell with emotion, "Neither have I, but it feels right, doesn't it?"
He nodded, his eyes meeting mine with a warmth that made me feel truly seen, "Like we're meant to be here together."
I leaned closer, my voice barely above a whisper, "Let's stay like this forever."
He nodded, pulling me closer into his embrace.
The room was silent except for the soft hum of the ceiling fan.
As we lay there, I noticed the first light of dawn creeping through the curtains, casting a soft glow over us.
Mono's grip tightened slightly, as if sensing my thoughts of the day ahead.
