Despite the chaos, she cherishes the bond they share and enjoys watching Max play with other cats, filling her heart with joy and laughter.

Ben often gets caught up in the chaos caused by Max and offers gentle teasing to lighten the mood. He enjoys spending time with Morgan and enjoys playing with Max, showing a caring side towards both Morgan and her pet.
Max
He is a playful and mischievous kitten owned by Morgan. He is curious, energetic, and playful. Max loves to explore his surroundings and cause a ruckus by spilling milkshakes with his tail. His playful antics bring joy to Morgan's heart and create humorous moments for both of them. His love for playing with other cats shows his social nature and innocence.
My rambunctious little monster kitten, Max, has just dropped his milkshake all over the floor.
I sigh and pick up the carton.
Well, at least he had the sense to put his paws over his face in defeat.
At least I think that’s what the gesture means.
It could also mean he’s ashamed of himself, or even that he’s plotting something.
With Max, I never know.
I set the carton down on the counter and grab a roll of paper towels.
As I bend to clean the puddle of gooey mess from the floor, I hear a snort of amusement from the couch behind me.
I look up and see Ben grinning at me, my heart warming with pleasure at his presence in my home.
"You find something funny, Ben?"
I ask him.
He grins wider and leans forward, putting his elbows on his knees.
"I’m not laughing, Morgan. Although I have to say, you do look pretty amusing right now on your hands and knees with a milkshake carton in one hand and a roll of paper towels in the other."
I smile and shake my head at him.
"You’re such a gentle jerk," I say.
"I can’t decide if that’s an oxymoron or not."
He shrugs and smiles wider.
"Hey, someone has to keep things interesting around here."
I return my attention to the sticky puddle spreading across the kitchen floor, dabbing at it with paper towels.
Max is still sitting on his perch on top of the counter, watching me intently.
He’s no longer covering his face with his paws, so I guess he’s decided that he’s not ashamed of himself anymore.
The milkshake has already started to seep into the grout between the tiles, making it harder to clean up.
I frown and dab at the puddle with more determination.
Max, seeming to sense my annoyance, bounces down from his perch and pads across the kitchen floor to me.
He sniffs at the puddle and then looks up at me, his eyes wide and innocent.
As if he has no idea what happened.
I glare at him and continue cleaning up the mess.
He seems to sense that I’m annoyed because he sits back on his haunches and starts to swish his tail back and forth.
When a stray paper towel floats to the ground, he pounces on it, batting it around like a toy.
Ben chuckles again from the couch and I grit my teeth. After several minutes of dabbing at the puddle with paper towels, I finally manage to soak up most of it.
But there’s still a small patch of sticky goo left on the floor.
I gather up all of the paper towels that I used and throw them in the trash can under the sink.
Then I grab a mop from the closet and fill a bucket with warm water and soap.
I dip the mop head into the soapy water and wring it out before mopping up the last of the milkshake from the floor.
When I’m done, I empty out the bucket and rinse off the mop head before putting it back in its place in the closet.
I turn around to see Ben watching me from the couch, a smile still on his face.
I hear scratching at the front door and turn to see three neighborhood cats standing there, meowing loudly.
They want to come in and play with Max.
I open the door and let them in, despite my better judgment.
Ben raises an eyebrow but says nothing.
The three cats dart into the living room and start to run around, chasing each other and playing.
Max watches them from his perch on top of the counter, his tail twitching back and forth.
After a few minutes, he can’t resist any longer and jumps down from his perch to join in on the fun.
The four cats run around the living room, chasing each other and playing.
They knock over a vase of flowers that was sitting on the coffee table, spilling water all over the table and floor.
I sigh and grab a towel to clean up the mess.
As I’m drying off the table, I hear more scratching at the front door.
I turn to see two more cats standing there, meowing loudly.
They want to come in and play too. I open the door and let them in, despite my better judgment.
Ben raises an eyebrow but says nothing.
The two new cats join in on the fun, running around the living room and playing with the other four cats.
Max is having a great time, chasing after them and pouncing on them whenever he gets the chance.
But then I hear more scratching at the front door.
I turn to see three more cats standing there, meowing loudly.
They want to come in and play too.
I open the door and let them in, despite my better judgment.
Ben raises an eyebrow but says nothing.
The three new cats join in on the fun, running around the living room and playing with the other six cats.
Max is still having a great time, chasing after them and pouncing on them whenever he gets the chance.
But then I hear more scratching at the front door again.
I turn to see five more cats standing there, meowing loudly.
They want to come in and play too. My heart starts racing as I count how many cats are now in my house: seven, eight, nine… twelve!
Twelve cats are now running around my living room, chasing each other and playing together while Max runs around like a madman trying to keep up with all of them.
