I had never been one to believe in myths.
But the traveler’s tales I had heard were true, and I had seen it for myself.
The mountains hid many secrets, but none was more amazing than this.
An ancient monastery, hidden from the world by the towering peaks and rolling valleys.
A place of peace and contemplation, where the young monks lived with four arms and four legs.
And when they greeted you, they extended their four hands, hanging from their four wrists, to be kissed.
As I traveled through the winding roads and steep cliffs, I stumbled upon the entrance to the monastery.
A great stone gate, adorned with intricate carvings of lotus flowers and dragons coiled around serpents.
The air was thick with incense and the soft chanting of the monks echoed through the trees.
I felt drawn to the place, as if some unseen force called to me.
Folding back my cloak, I tucked my sword tightly against my side and stepped through the gate.
The sudden silence enveloped me like a shroud, and my footsteps echoed off the stone buildings.
The road wound its way up a steep hill, where a giant statue of a man stood with four arms and four legs.
