Luo Yunxi
able to accomplish complex tasks easily. He is curious, adventurous, and determined. Luo Yunxi discovered a mysterious cube that changed his life. While strolling by a river, he picked up the cube, triggering a secret binding process. Trapped in the cube, he met an assistant system named Xiao Li. With newfound powers, Luo Yunxi explored the universe contained within the cube and transformed it into his own dimension.
River
calming, and unintentionally transformative. Luo Yunxi strolled along the river's bank when he encountered the cube, which changed his life forever. The river's gentle flow contrasts with the sudden complexity of Luo Yun xi's experiences. The memory of walking by the river becomes etched in his mind as he explores and understands the world within the cube.
Xiao Li
helpful, and informative. Xiao Li explains the rules and functions of the cube universe to Luo Yunxi, helping him understand his extraordinary situation. Her guidance allows Luo Yunxi to navigate his new world and utilize its possibilities. Despite limitations on advanced functions, she remains supportive and hopeful for future growth as Luo Yunxi progresses and levels up.
I roughly measure the length, width, and height of my current environment with my palm.
The length is about four meters, the width is also about four meters, and the height is roughly the same.
Based on this calculation, the volume of this room is about 16 cubic meters.
The air in this room is limited; judging from the volume, I can only survive for about a day at most.
There is no door and no window in this completely enclosed room.
I have no idea how I ended up here.
Before this, I was strolling by the river and discovered a "stone."
It had a cubic shape, about the size of my palm, pure white like cream, with sharp edges, resembling something artificial.
When I picked it up, I realized it was not a stone, as it was clearly much heavier—at least 10 kilograms.
That was my last memory.
Hence, I deduce that this mysterious cube has something to do with my current situation.
I look at the milky white walls of the room and absurdly think that I might be inside this cube.
Many xianxia novels feature treasures like this; they are called "taking the cosmos into a mustard seed," quite profound indeed.
I can't help but feel a flicker of excitement—has my golden finger been awakened?
So, I shout, "System, are you there?"
"Host successfully bound! Welcome to the Cubic World, I am your assistant; you can call me Xiao Li."
There really is a system!
I lean against the milky-white wall, studying the featureless surface while waiting for Xiao Li's response.
The system interface materializes before my eyes, a translucent display floating in mid-air.
Xiao Li's voice explains the basic functions: "This system is designed to manage your storage space, monitor the environment, and provide a rudimentary mapping system."
She demonstrates each function with a few taps, causing glowing icons to pulse with soft light.
I reach out to touch the storage icon, but my hand passes through empty air, as if I were trying to grasp a cloud.
However, a list of specifications appears before me: "Storage Space: 100 cubic meters; Current Volume: 16 cubic meters; Remaining Space: 84 cubic meters."
The environment monitoring function displays the current oxygen levels, temperature, and spatial coordinates.
At the bottom of the interface, I notice a locked section labeled "Advanced Functions."
"Xiao Li, how do I unlock the advanced functions?" I ask, my voice tinged with urgency.
"You must complete specific tasks to gather experience points," Xiao Li replies, her tone calm yet encouraging.
"What kind of tasks are we talking about?" I press, feeling a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
I scan through the interface to check what's currently in storage.
It's a jumbled collection of items I must have accidentally brought in: my phone, wallet, some receipts, and even bits of gravel from the riverbank stuck to my shoes.
"Show me how to move things," I ask Xiao Li.
She guides me through the mental commands needed to manipulate objects in this space.
I focus on a receipt, watching it float up and sort itself into a newly created "Documents" category.
The interface dings softly, showing "+1 XP" as I continue organizing.
Each item requires careful concentration to move, like exercising a new muscle.
"Xiao Li, how many experience points do I need to unlock the first advanced function?" I inquire, trying to gauge the scale of my task.
"To unlock the first tier, you need 100 XP," Xiao Li responds, her voice steady and informative.
"And what happens if I run out of oxygen before then?" I ask, my apprehension growing as I glance at the dwindling oxygen levels displayed on the interface.
