I am Prince Chino of the royal family a Valtor.
My name is Prince Arin and I'm supposed to be the King one day.
But here I am lost in this magic world all by myself.
I don't know how I got here, but I was on a royal hunt with my parents, the King and Queen of our kingdom of Eldrid.
Then I got lost and couldn't find them no matter how far I went.
The only thing I knew was to keep going until I found my way back home.
That's what a future King should do, right?
No matter how hard it gets, you should always find your way home to your people.
They need you, so you must do what you can to get back to them.
I've been walking for what feels like days, and I haven't seen any people or even any buildings.
All I see are trees everywhere I look.
How do I even know that I'm going in the right direction?
What if I've been walking in circles?
How do I even know that?
"Hello, little prince. Why are you all by yourself in this big, bad world?"
I hear a voice behind me.
I turn to see who's talking to me, but all I see are seven beautiful lights looking back at me.
Where did those voices come from?
The Lost Prince
I stand there for a minute, not knowing what to do.
The lights are still staring back at me, and I can see them pulsing with a gentle glow.
I take a step forward, and they move closer to me.
"Who are you?"
I ask them.
"We are the Luminae," they say in unison.
Their voice is soft and gentle, but it's also very powerful.
I can feel their energy radiating from them as they speak.
"We are the guardians of the forest. We have been watching you from afar, Prince Chino. You have been traveling through our forest for quite some time now."
I nod my head at them, not sure what to say.
It's not every day that I meet beings made of light.
"I'm trying to find my way home," I tell them.
The Lost Prince
"Can you help me?"
I ask them.
The lights flicker at me for a second before one of them floats closer to me.
"Follow us," it says softly.
I nod my head and follow the light as it moves deeper into the forest.
The other lights stay close behind us as we move through the trees.
We walk for about twenty minutes before the light stops in front of a big tree trunk.
It shines its light on the tree, and I can see that there's a symbol etched into the bark of the tree. "What does that symbol mean?"
I ask the light.
"It means this is a path that only those who know where to look will find," it tells me softly.
It shines its light on another tree trunk, and I can see that there's another symbol etched into the bark of this tree too.
"This symbol is telling us which direction to go in," it says softly.
The light moves again, and I follow it as we continue down the path through the forest.
We walk for about half an hour before we come to another symbol etched into a tree trunk.
This symbol is different than the others we've seen so far on our journey through this forest.
"What does this symbol mean?"
I ask the light softly.
"Why is this one different?" I ask, curiosity tingling in my voice.
"It marks the boundary between worlds," the Luminae replies, its glow intensifying.
"Beyond this point lies the truth of how you arrived here," another light adds, its tone both reassuring and ominous.
The Lost Prince
I take a step forward, and the Luminae form a protective circle around me.
The boundary symbol glows brighter, casting intricate shadows on the forest floor.
I reach out, tracing the symbol with my fingers.
The air hums, vibrating with ancient energy.
Suddenly, a vision unfolds before me—a memory of the royal hunt, my parents' worried faces, and the moment I vanished into the forest.
"This boundary is a portal," the Luminae whisper in unison.
"It's a rift between realms."
I feel an inexplicable pull, urging me to cross over.
I step through, leaving behind the world I once knew.
The Lost Prince
The forest fades away, replaced by a dimly lit corridor.
The walls are made of rough-hewn stone, and the air is thick with the scent of dust and age.
Distant footsteps echo through the passage, but I see no one.
The Luminae hover beside me, casting long shadows on the walls.
"This is the passage to Eldrid," they murmur softly.
I nod, my curiosity piqued.
We move forward cautiously, the corridor narrowing as we proceed.
Suddenly, a faint sound catches my attention—a whispering voice from beyond a heavy wooden door.
"Do you hear that?" I ask, turning to the Luminae.
"Yes, it is the voice of the Oracle," one of them replies, its glow dimming slightly.
"The Oracle knows the secrets of your journey and why you were brought here," another adds, its tone filled with reverence.
The Lost Prince
I approach the wooden door cautiously, the sound of the voice growing louder.
The door creaks open, revealing a dimly lit chamber.
In the center of the room stands a figure cloaked in shadows—the Oracle.
Her eyes meet mine, and I feel a shiver run down my spine.
The Luminae hover behind me, their lights flickering softly.
"Prince Chino," the Oracle intones, her voice echoing through the chamber.
"You seek answers."
She gestures to a stone basin filled with swirling water.
"Look within," she instructs.
I step forward cautiously, the stone floor cold beneath my feet.
The Lost Prince
I lean over the stone basin, the water churning with a life of its own.
Images flicker across the surface—my childhood in Eldrid, the royal hunt, and my parents' worried faces.
The Oracle's voice murmurs steadily behind me, guiding my focus.
The visions shift, revealing a future where I stand as king, my kingdom thriving and prosperous.
Yet, shadows loom at the edges, hinting at challenges yet to come.
The Luminae's lights pulse softly, grounding me in the present.
I reach out, touching the water's surface.
The coolness ripples under my fingers.
The Oracle nods in approval.
"It is time for you to claim your destiny," she declares.
The Lost Prince
The water begins to glow with an ethereal light, and the Oracle's voice becomes a soft murmur.
I gaze deeper into the swirling depths, shapes and lines emerging from the mist.
A map forms, pulsing with life.
The Luminae gather closer, their lights reflecting off the water's surface.
"This map leads to a forgotten treasure trove," the Oracle explains, her eyes never leaving mine.
My heart pounds with excitement and trepidation.
This treasure could hold the key to my kingdom's future.
I reach out, tracing the map's path with determination.
The Oracle's voice echoes in my mind as I step back from the stone basin.
"Remember, Prince Chino, the journey ahead will be fraught with danger. But with courage and determination, you will emerge victorious."
The Luminae's lights flicker softly, illuminating the path forward.
I take a deep breath, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
The Lost Prince
I step back from the Oracle's chamber, the map's path etched in my mind.
The Luminae guide me through the dim corridor, their lights casting a warm glow on the ancient stone walls.
We exit into the open air, and I see my loyal knights waiting, their armor shining under the sun.
I approach them with resolve, sharing the Oracle's vision and the importance of our quest.
They nod, understanding the gravity of our mission.
We mount our horses, the Luminae hovering above us like guiding stars.
The Lost Prince
As we ride through the dense forest, the Luminae's lights illuminate our path, casting an ethereal glow on the trees and underbrush.
The air is thick with anticipation, each hoofbeat echoing my determination.
My knights follow closely, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of danger.
The map's directions are clear, yet the terrain is treacherous.
We navigate through narrow trails and overgrown foliage, the sound of rustling leaves accompanying our journey.
Suddenly, a distant roar pierces the silence, causing us to halt.
The Lost Prince
The sound grows louder, echoing through the forest, and I signal my knights to form a defensive circle.
The Luminae's lights dim, casting an eerie glow on the surrounding trees.
We stand ready, swords drawn, eyes scanning the dense foliage for movement.
The rustling grows louder, and a massive creature emerges from the shadows—a beast with scales glistening like emeralds and eyes burning with fierce intelligence.
It snarls, revealing rows of sharp teeth.
My knights tense, but I raise a hand, urging caution.
The Luminae whisper in my mind that this creature guards the path we must take.
With a deep breath, I step forward, ready to negotiate our passage.
The Lost Prince
The beast's eyes narrow, their piercing gaze boring into mine.
My knights remain tense, their swords at the ready.
The Luminae hover close, their soft glow a reassuring presence.
I speak clearly, offering the creature respect and proposing safe passage in exchange for a future alliance.
The beast regards me, considering my words.
Silence hangs heavy in the air as it studies me, its nostrils flaring slightly.
Then, with a low growl, it steps aside, granting us passage.
Relief washes over me as we continue our journey, the path now clear.
Sir Cedric, riding beside me, breaks the silence, "Do you think it truly understood our offer, my lord?"
I nod, keeping my eyes on the path ahead, "The Luminae assure me it did; their wisdom has never led us astray."
Lady Elara, her voice steady yet curious, adds, "Then perhaps this alliance will prove more valuable than we anticipate."
The Lost Prince
I nod, guiding my horse forward, "Indeed, and it is a testament to the power of the Luminae's guidance."
As we ride deeper into the forest, the Luminae's lights continue to illuminate our path.
The dense foliage rustles softly in the breeze, and the sound of distant water grows louder.
The air is filled with the scent of damp earth and greenery.
Suddenly, a rustling in the underbrush catches our attention.
We halt, scanning the surroundings for any sign of danger.
The Luminae's lights flicker, casting an otherworldly glow on the surrounding trees.
A figure emerges from the undergrowth, its features indistinct in the shadows.
It approaches cautiously, its movements deliberate and calculated.
My knights tense, gripping their weapons tightly, ready to defend against any threat.
The Luminae hover closer, their soft glow intensifying as they sense our unease.
I raise a hand, signaling for calmness and restraint.
The Lost Prince
The figure halts before us, its eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intelligence.
It regards us for a moment, then speaks in a voice that resonates deep within my mind.
"Greetings, Prince Chino," it says.
"I have been waiting for you. You have reached a crossroads in your journey. The path ahead is fraught with danger, but also holds great potential."
I consider its words carefully, weighing the risks and rewards of each choice.
The Luminae whisper in my mind, offering guidance and insight. "What lies ahead?" I ask the figure, seeking clarity on the path before us.
"It is not for me to reveal," it responds enigmatically.
"But know that whatever choice you make will have far-reaching consequences. The fate of your kingdom hangs in the balance."
I ponder its words deeply, seeking guidance from both my own instincts and the wisdom of the Luminae.
After a moment of contemplation, I make my decision.
"We will proceed with caution," I say firmly.
"But we will not be deterred by danger. Our quest is too important to be held back."
The figure nods its head in understanding, then vanishes into the shadows as suddenly as it appeared.
My knights and I continue on our journey, guided by the Luminae's lights and our unwavering determination.
As we ride deeper into the forest, we encounter more challenges and obstacles that test our resolve and courage.
The Lost Prince
As we ride deeper into the forest, the Luminae's lights grow brighter, illuminating a narrow stream that cuts across our path.
The water rushes swiftly, its dark depths reflecting the flickering luminescence above.
I dismount, leading my horse to the edge of the stream.
The water is cold and fast-moving, its surface rippling as I test its depth with a long stick.
My knights follow, carefully guiding their horses across the treacherous terrain.
The Luminae hover above us, their lights casting an ethereal glow on the water's surface.
As we reach the other side, a rustling in the underbrush catches our attention.
We draw our swords, ready to defend against any threat that may emerge.
A small creature emerges from the shadows, its eyes wide with fear.
It halts before us, trembling slightly as it regards us warily. I lower my sword, holding out a piece of food in a calming gesture.
The creature cautiously approaches, accepting my offering and nibbling at it nervously.
The Luminae's lights continue to illuminate our path as we press onward, undeterred by the challenges that lie ahead.
The Lost Prince
Sir Cedric glances at me, his voice low and thoughtful, "Could this creature be a sign, my lord? Perhaps it symbolizes the balance we must maintain on this journey."
Lady Elara nods, her eyes fixed on the path ahead, "Indeed, every encounter seems to carry a message. We must remain vigilant and discerning."
I agree, feeling the weight of their words, "Yes, each step forward is a lesson. The Luminae guide us for a reason, and we must heed their wisdom."
The Lost Prince
As we continue our journey, the Luminae's lights lead us across the stream, the water splashing against our horses' legs.
The Luminae's lights cast a soft glow on the water's surface, illuminating the path ahead.
We reach the other side, and as we emerge from the stream, I notice a faint trail leading deeper into the forest.
I signal to my knights, and we dismount to investigate.
The trail is narrow and overgrown with vines, but it seems to match the path indicated on the map.
I take a deep breath, feeling the weight of our quest.
Sir Cedric, examining the map closely, remarks, "This trail seems to lead to the heart of the forest, where the ancient ruins are said to lie."
Lady Elara, her voice tinged with excitement and caution, adds, "The ruins hold secrets long forgotten. If we uncover them, it could change everything for our kingdom."
I nod, determination in my voice, "Then we must proceed. The knowledge hidden there may be the key to securing our future."
The Lost Prince
With the Luminae's lights guiding us, we carefully make our way along the narrow trail.
The air is thick with the scent of damp earth and overgrowth, and the sound of leaves crunching beneath our feet echoes through the forest.
We move slowly, each step deliberate, as we navigate the treacherous terrain.
The Luminae continue to illuminate our path, casting an ethereal glow on the ancient stones peeking through the foliage.
As we round a bend in the trail, a clearing comes into view.
In the center lies a sprawling structure of crumbling stone, its walls covered in vines and moss.
The Luminae's lights cast an otherworldly glow on the ancient ruins, imbuing them with an aura of mystery and intrigue.
I dismount my horse, approaching cautiously, my sword at the ready.
Sir Cedric and Lady Elara follow suit, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of danger.
The air is heavy with an atmosphere of forgotten history, and I can't help but feel a sense of awe and reverence for the ancient civilization that once called this place home.
As we explore the ruins, I notice intricate carvings adorning the walls.
They depict scenes of great battles and wise leaders, showcasing a civilization that was both fierce and intelligent.
The Lost Prince
Sir Cedric remarks on the craftsmanship, his voice filled with admiration.
"The attention to detail is remarkable. These carvings are a testament to the skill of the artisans who created them."
Lady Elara adds, her voice filled with excitement.
"And think of the stories they could tell if only they could speak." We continue to explore, uncovering hidden chambers and secret passageways.
Each new discovery reveals more about the ancient civilization that once thrived here.
But as we delve deeper into the ruins, I begin to feel a sense of unease.
The air grows thick with an ominous energy, and I can't shake the feeling that we are being watched by unseen eyes.
Suddenly, a figure emerges from the shadows.
It is tall and imposing, its features obscured by darkness.
I draw my sword, ready to defend myself and my companions against any threat that may arise.
The figure approaches slowly, its movements deliberate and calculated.
As it draws closer, I can see that it is a woman unlike any I have ever encountered.
Her skin glows with an otherworldly luminescence, and her eyes burn with an intense inner light. She regards us for a moment, then speaks in a voice that resonates deep within my soul.
The Lost Prince
I lower my sword, intrigued by her presence.
"Who are you, and what secrets do these ruins hold?"
I ask, my voice filled with curiosity.
The woman steps closer, her eyes fixed intently on mine.
"I am Seraphine, guardian of these ancient truths," she replies, her voice echoing through the chamber.
She gestures to the carvings on the wall, her movements fluid and graceful.
"These tell the story of our kingdom's history, of great battles fought and won," she explains.
Sir Cedric and Lady Elara listen intently, their eyes fixed on the carvings as Seraphine continues to speak.
"There is more to uncover," she says, leading us deeper into the ruins.
We follow her, our footsteps echoing off the stone walls as we make our way through narrow passageways and hidden chambers.
Finally, we come to a large stone door adorned with intricate carvings.
Seraphine places her hand on the door, and it slowly creaks open, revealing a room filled with ancient artifacts and treasures beyond our wildest dreams. We step inside, our eyes wide with wonder as we take in the sights before us.
The Lost Prince
There are golden statues and precious jewels, ancient scrolls and mysterious devices that defy explanation.
Seraphine leads us to a large stone tablet in the center of the room.
"This holds a prophecy about your reign," she says, her voice filled with reverence.
I approach the tablet cautiously, feeling a sense of awe and trepidation as I reach out to touch its surface.
As soon as I make contact with it, visions begin to flood my mind - images of great battles fought and won, of a kingdom united under my rule.
I see myself standing strong against adversity, leading my people to victory against all odds.
The visions fade as quickly as they began, leaving me breathless and shaken by their intensity.
I turn to Seraphine, my voice filled with gratitude.
The Lost Prince
I step back from the tablet, my mind still reeling from the visions I have seen.
Lady Elara moves closer, her hand brushing against mine as she reaches out to touch the tablet.
Her eyes meet mine, filled with a newfound admiration and respect.
Sir Cedric clears his throat, breaking the moment between us.
"This could fund our kingdom's future," he says, pointing to a golden statue in the corner of the room.
I nod, grateful for his practicality.
We begin to catalog the treasures before us, each item a potential resource for our quest.
But as we turn to leave, the stone door slams shut behind us, sealing our fate within the ancient chamber.
The Lost Prince
I scan the walls, my fingers tracing the cold stone in search of any hidden mechanism.
The Luminae's lights flicker, casting eerie shadows on the walls as they dance across the ancient carvings.
Sir Cedric and Lady Elara join me, their eyes sharp and focused as we methodically check every inch of the room.
And then, near the stone tablet, I notice a small indentation in the wall - barely visible in the dim light.
I press it gently, feeling a slight give beneath my touch.
A low rumble echoes through the chamber as a section of the wall slides open, revealing a narrow passage.
Lady Elara steps forward, her voice a mix of relief and curiosity.
"Do you think this passage leads us to freedom or deeper into the heart of the mystery?"
Sir Cedric chuckles softly, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
"Only one way to find out, my lady—adventure awaits us either way."
The Lost Prince
I press the hidden lever in the passage, and a section of the wall slides open, revealing a dusty map etched with symbols.
The Luminae's lights illuminate the intricate lines leading directly to our kingdom's legendary lost treasure.
Sir Cedric and Lady Elara gather around, their eyes wide with excitement.
We study the map, tracing the path with our fingers.
I feel a surge of determination as I realize this could be the key to securing our future.
Carefully, I roll up the map and tuck it into my satchel.
With a shared glance of resolve, we step into the passage, ready to face whatever lies ahead.
The Lost Prince
I lead the way, my knights following closely behind.
The passage is narrow, the air thick with the scent of age and forgotten history.
The Luminae's lights cast eerie shadows on the ancient stone walls, making it seem as though we are being watched by unseen eyes.
Our footsteps echo in the darkness, each step taking us deeper into the unknown.
Sir Cedric keeps his hand on the hilt of his sword, ever vigilant for any sign of danger.
Lady Elara studies the walls, her eyes tracing the symbols etched into the stone.
"They match those on the map," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the sound of our footsteps.
I nod, my heart pounding in my chest.
We are getting close.
The air grows colder as we round a corner, and I can feel a strange energy emanating from ahead.
Suddenly, a faint whisper reaches my ears - a soft murmur that seems to be coming from all around us.
I hold up a hand, signaling for my knights to halt.
