I was running with my friends in the campus.
I saw a boy who was also running with me.
He had a nice smile and friendly eyes.
"Hi, my name is Allison," I said to him.
"My name is Mason," he replied.
We kept on running.
After some time, we stopped under the shade of a big tree.
"This tree is known as the Great Tree," Mason told me.
"I love this tree," I said.
Suddenly, I felt a breeze and heard a soft whisper in my ear.
"Hello, Allison. Hello, Mason. Follow the path under the tree to find the seeds."
I looked at Mason and smiled.
"Did you hear that?"
I asked him.
"Yes, I did," he replied.
We started following the path under the tree.
After some time, we reached a small hill and saw children searching for something in the grass.
"Hello, what are you searching for?" I asked them.
"We are searching for seeds," one of them replied.
"We are also searching for seeds," I said to them.
I was about to ask them what kind of seeds they were looking for when Mason spoke up.
"Seeds! I just found one!"
He showed us a small seed with black spots on it.
"This is not the seed we are looking for," one of the children said.
"This seed is poisonous and should be thrown away."
I kneel beside Mason, and he holds the spotted seed in his palm, examining it more closely.
The other children gather around us, their faces tense with worry.
A gentle breeze rustles through the leaves of the Great Tree above, and I hear the spirit's whisper again.
"It's not safe to keep that seed. It must be buried."
Mason turns the seed over in his palm, revealing more black spots underneath.
"We need to bury it," he says firmly.
"The tree spirit told me it's the only way to stop it from spreading."
Lily hands him a small twig, which he uses to dig a shallow hole in the earth.
Carefully, making sure not to touch the seed directly, Mason tips it into the hole.
"Are you sure this will work?" Lily asks, her voice tinged with doubt.
"It has to," Mason replies, determination in his eyes.
As he covers the seed with soil, I feel a strange warmth spreading through the ground beneath us.
After burying the seed, I kneel beside the fresh dirt, watching intently.
Mason and Lily crouch next to me, while Tristan stands guard a few steps away.
The soil feels unusually warm under my palm, and I can sense a subtle vibration beneath the surface.
Suddenly, tiny cracks begin to form in the earth, like the first hints of a puzzle unfolding.
The tree spirit's presence grows stronger, its whispers urgent in my mind.
"It's working," I say, my voice barely above a whisper.
"The seed is being absorbed."
Mason's eyes widen with wonder as he watches the ground shift and settle.
Lily looks on with a mix of awe and fear.
I grab Mason's arm, feeling a surge of energy coursing through my veins.
"The ground is moving," I say, my voice filled with excitement.
Lily takes a step back, her eyes fixed on the spot where we buried the seed.
"Look!" she exclaims, pointing at a small break in the soil. We all lean in closer, our breaths held as one.
