Ryuko Matoi
female. She is a rebellious and determined student from Honnouji Academy. She is brave,impulsive,and fiercely independent. Ryuko wakes up in a forest on the Island of Sodor with no memory of how she got there. She finds Mako Mankanshoku nearby and together they try to survive and find their way back home. Ryuko struggles with her past and her relationship with Satsuki Kiryuuin,her halfsister.
Mako Mankanshoku
female. She is a student from Honnouji Academy and Ryuko's friend. She is cheerful,optimistic,and resourceful. Mako wakes up alongside Ryuko in the forest on Sodor with no memory of their arrival. Despite the challenges they face,she remains hopeful and supportive of Ryuko. Her friendship with Ryuko is strong,and she tries to keep Ryuko's spirits up as they navigate their unexpected situation.
Satsuki Kiryuuin
female. She is the student council president at Honnouji Academy and Ryuko's halfsister. She is strict,authoritative,and ambitious. Satsuki has a complicated relationship with Ryuko due to their shared past involving their father's death. Her leadership skills are evident as she manages the school's affairs efficiently but often clashes with Ryuko over her rebellious nature.
Ryuko: "Ugh..."
Mako: "Huh?"
I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I was lying on a bed of grass.
In front of me was Mako Mankanshoku, my only friend from Honnouji Academy.
Mako: "Ryuko, is that you? Where are we?"
I tried to remember how I came here, but I couldn't remember anything.
Mako seemed to be in the same situation as me.
Mako: "I don't remember how I came here either..."
Me: "Me neither... Where exactly are we?"
Mako looked around and then suddenly pointed at something.
Mako: "Look, Ryuko! There's a train!"
I stood up and saw the train as well.
It was an old-fashioned steam train, but it looked like it had been well-maintained.
The railway itself also looked old, with many sleepers made of wood.
Me: "Where do you think this railway leads to?"
Mako: "Let's follow it and see!"
We both walked along the Skarloey railway and soon found ourselves at a small station.
The station was called "Skarloey Road" and there was a map of the railways on the Island of Sodor displayed on the wall.
Me: "The Island of Sodor? Where is that?"
Mako: "Let's ask one of the station workers."
We approached one of the railway workers who was walking by and asked him about the location.
Worker: "The Island of Sodor? Why, it's right here, of course!"
