I was eight years old when I received my first and only gift from Usagi Tsukino.
She came up to me with a small gift box in her hands.
It was a beautiful type with a design of flowers and leaves on it, and it had a white ribbon tied to it.
I was shocked when she told me to open it.
It was expensive looking, so I didn't think she would give it to me.
I opened the box.
Inside the box, there was a pair of earrings with diamonds and platinum settings.
The diamonds were cut into two different shapes.
One was round, and the other was square.
The two stones were set side by side in the middle of the pair of earrings with a platinum setting that held the two diamonds together.

I stared at the earrings for a while, trying to figure out where she got them.
She stood there with her eyes wide open, waiting for me to say something.
"Where did you get these?"
I asked her.
She shrugged her shoulders and gave me a small smile.
"A friend helped me," she said.
I knew that she wouldn't steal things, but I couldn't figure out how she got them.
I decided to keep them in my desk drawer at work.
The next day, I went to the local jeweler and showed him the earrings.
He looked at them for a while before he said anything.
"These are from a special collection," he told me as he looked at the earrings again.
"Whoever gave these to you must have connections," the jeweler continued, glancing up at me with a curious expression.
I frowned, trying to piece together the puzzle.
"Usagi said a friend helped her, but she didn't say who."

Years went by, and I found myself working as a realtor in our small town.
I was organizing my desk when I noticed the little angel figurine Usagi had given me.
The delicate wings shimmered softly under the light, reminding me of her kindness.
I placed it on my desk, figuring it would be a nice addition.
Just then, a client walked into my office.
We discussed property options and prices, but my mind wandered back to Usagi's mysterious connections.
Who was this friend who had helped her?
The answer finally came when I saw the same angel figurine on the client's necklace, identical to the one Usagi had given me.
