I was walking in the library when I saw him, the boy who had taken my heart but didn't know it.
I wanted to tell him how I felt, but I was shy and couldn't tell him.
I saw him putting some books on the shelves and walked toward him.
"Hi," I said, making him turn towards me.
"Hi, Emily," he said with a smile.
"How are you?"
"I am good," I replied.
"You know, I need your help with something."
I nodded my head.
"Anything," I said.
"I want you to meet my family," he said, looking at me.
"Oh... um..."
I was shocked to hear this.
"I don't think it's a good idea."
I told him, looking down.
"Why?" he asked me.
"I don't think it is."
I told him again, looking away toward the shelves.
"Emily," he said softly.
Looking at him, I saw his eyes on mine.
"I think we should take our relationship to the next level," he told me.
My heart was beating fast in my chest.
My mouth was hanging open, and my breath was coming faster than normal.
