Sometimes life is so cruel and hard that I just want to escape and never look back.
I have a lot of things to be grateful for, but I am only 19, and I already feel drained and exhausted from all the hardship that I have been through.
But I know that I am not alone.
A lot of people have it worse than me, and they still manage to find happiness in their hardship.
I guess what they don’t have is hope; they don’t have someone like me who has a wild imagination.
My name is Lily Carter, and I am a master at dreaming—dreaming about something else, dreaming about something else that is better than my life.
Dreaming gives me hope and makes me feel as if something else is waiting for me out there in this world—something else that will make my life better.
It gives me hope that one day I will find happiness and become someone that I can be proud of.
My dreams also give me the courage to keep going and keep fighting even when I feel like giving up.
I always tell myself that something better is going to happen soon, and it keeps me strong and confident.
Without my dreams, I don’t know what I would do or how I would have made it this far.
