I am a 9-year-old girl, and my height is 20 meters.
I have been growing up since I was 3 years old, and my parents couldn't find any clothes or shoes that fit me.
I had to wear a blue summer dress made by my mom herself, which was too thin for me.
My bare feet touched the ground and I walked, trying not to think about how cold it was.
I wanted to go to the town nearby to look for my playmate Dany.
He was as old as me, but his height was normal.
I was very lucky to find him because he didn't mind my size and we had a lot of fun together.
I walked for half an hour and finally arrived at the town.
It took me about 10 minutes to find his house.
Then I shouted, "Dany! Are you there?"
"Who is that?"
"I am Susan!"
His mom answered from inside the house.
"Dany! Come here..."
She sounded puzzled.
"Mom, I am here! Who is shouting, mom?"
"Come here... It must be Susan. She is huge, mom!"
"Who is huge, son?"
"A girl! Huge..."
"Huge? What do you mean, son?"
"Like a building..."
"You mean she is very tall, right?"
"Yes... No! She is huge like a building, mom!"
"Like a building? You mean she is very tall, right?"
"Yes..."
"Come on! Don't talk about her anymore. Come here and eat your lunch first."
Standing outside Dany's house, I watched them talking through the second-floor windows.
My stomach growled.
The smell of lunch was coming from the kitchen.
I shifted my weight a little bit, and the ground under my feet cracked.
I didn't notice that I had stepped on Mrs. Peterson's flower bed next door.
I felt guilty and took a careful step back onto the street.
Cars honked and swerved around my feet.
"What is going on?"
"Mom, Susan is here! She is huge!"
"Where?"
"On the street..."
"I can't see her."
"Look at the cars... They are honking..."
"Oh... What is that? A building?"
"No, mom! It is Susan!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes! She is huge!"
I couldn't wait any longer.
I didn't want to scare them, but I had to let them know I was here.
I leaned down closer to their roof and extended my index finger.
"Dany, it's me, Susan," I said softly, trying not to frighten them.
"Susan, why are you so big?" Dany asked, his voice a mix of awe and concern.
"I don't know, but I think it has something to do with the old oak tree in the forest," I replied, hoping he would understand the urgency in my voice.
As Dany and his mother stepped out of the house, I slowly rose to my full height, careful not to startle them.
Dany's eyes widened in awe, while his mother looked up with a mix of curiosity and concern.
They cautiously approached me, and I bent down to greet them warmly.
Mrs. Dany offered me a plate of food, which I gratefully accepted.
I sat cross-legged on the street, trying not to block the traffic.
Dany climbed onto my knee, chatting excitedly about our next adventure.
After finishing the snacks Mrs. Dany brought out, I stretched my legs across the street, my bare feet reaching the opposite sidewalk.
Walking all morning had left them sore and dirty.
Dany noticed me wiggling my toes uncomfortably and climbed down from my knee.
"Are you okay, Susan?" he asked, looking up at me with concern.
"I'm fine, just a bit sore from walking," I replied, trying to reassure him.
"Let me help," he said, determination in his voice.
He walked over to my right foot and placed his small hands on my heel.
I watched as he started to press his fingers into the skin, trying to massage away the ache.
Cars stopped and drivers stared as Dany worked his magic on my foot.
I couldn't help but smile at the sight of him, so focused on making me feel better.
The crowd gathered around us, whispering and pointing.
I noticed flashing blue lights approaching from both ends of the street.
My heart raced as two police cars pulled up near my outstretched legs.
Dany stopped massaging my foot and stood up, his eyes fixed on the officers.
Three officers stepped out of the cars, speaking into their radios while pointing at my feet blocking the road.
I slowly pulled my knees up to my chest, trying to make myself smaller, but this only caused more commotion as the gathered crowd shuffled backward.
One officer approached Dany, notepad in hand, while another walked toward my ankle with a measuring tape.
The officer with the notepad knelt down to Dany's level and asked, "Son, can you tell us what's going on here?"
Dany glanced up at me before replying, "This is my friend Susan, she's just... well, she's really big."
The officer measuring my ankle looked up and added, "We need to understand how this happened; it's not every day we see someone as tall as a building."
My feet were still sore, so I shifted position to get more comfortable.
As I moved my right foot, I felt it bump against something solid.
A blue sedan that had been parked beside the curb started rolling forward into the street.
I gasped and reached for it, but my sudden movement only startled the gathering crowd more.
The car picked up speed as it rolled downhill.
The police officers shouted warnings and ran after it while Dany gripped my ankle tightly.
I watched helplessly as the car headed toward the busy intersection.
People screamed and scattered while the officers sprinted after it, their radios crackling with urgent calls.
My hands trembled as I reached out, wanting to stop the car but afraid of making things worse.
Dany squeezed my ankle reassuringly, but I could barely feel his touch through my rising panic.
Mrs. Dany emerged from her house, phone in hand, likely calling more authorities.
A growing crowd of neighbors gathered at a safe distance, pointing and whispering.
The sedan came to a halt just inches from the intersection, its bumper kissing the curb with a gentle thud.
I hear a distant chopping sound growing louder above the street noise.
Looking up, I spot three military helicopters approaching from different directions.
My muscles tense as they circle overhead, their rotors whipping my dress around.
Dany's grip on my ankle tightens while his mother rushes to pull him away.
The first helicopter descends lower, and I see men in tactical gear leaning out.
A metallic glint catches my eye before I feel something sharp strike my shoulder.
More impacts follow as steel cables shoot from the helicopters, wrapping around my arms and legs.
Dany shouted over the noise, "Susan, they're trying to secure you! Just stay calm!"
I struggled against the cables, my voice trembling, "Dany, I didn't mean for any of this to happen!"
One of the men in tactical gear called out through a megaphone, "We need to get you to safety before anything else goes wrong!"
