I am a soft more in university named Brooklyn the hottest girl in the school. But when three guys all like me at the same time I struggle with my emotions
Brooklyn Hayes
conflicted, and introspective. Brooklyn is known for her beauty and popularity, attracting attention from multiple men. She struggles with feelings for three men: Jake, her boyfriend; Ethan, her best friend; and Liam, a charming newcomer. Her relationships are complicated by past trauma and the pressure of societal expectations.
Ethan Parker
supportive, and caring. Ethan harbors unspoken feelings for Brooklyn but remains committed to their friendship despite his desires. His relationship with Brooklyn is deeprooted in trust and mutual understanding.
Jake Thompson
possessive, and protective. Jake has a strong bond with Brooklyn but struggles with jealousy and insecurity when other men show interest in her. His relationship with Brooklyn is intense but often tumultuous due to his possessiveness.
I am the softest nerd at the university, but I am also the hottest girl that everyone likes.
Three guys liked me at the same time.
My boyfriend of two years said, "You are mine. Let me take care of you."
My charming friend said, "I'll give you all the happiness you deserve."
The very funny sweet new kid said, "You are the only one in my heart."
How should I Brooklyn choose?
"Brooklyn. You are late."
The basketball team's ace centered around me and kissed my forehead.
It was obvious that Jake was angry, but he still took care of my feelings and didn't want to hurt me.
I looked at him, "Sorry, I waited for you until the sun went down."
Jake looked great with short black hair and brown eyes.
He took care of himself and had a hot body.
He was the star player of the football team in our university, and all the girls in our school liked him very much.
Except for his possessive tendency, almost everything else about him was very good.
"I'm still waiting for you on the court. Come first and practice together."
I nodded and held Jake's hand.
When we arrived at the sports stadium, I saw a familiar figure standing outside the stadium door.
He had short blond hair and light brown eyes.
He wore a black shirt and looked very intriguing with his hands crossed over his chest.
"Hey, Brooklyn. Wait for me."
I let go of Jake's hand, "I'll catch up in a minute."
Jake looked at the blond boy, his jaw clenched.
He didn't want to leave me with that guy.
But he was a good boyfriend.
After a few seconds, Jake nodded and went into the stadium.
I walked towards the blond boy, who was drumming his fingers against his crossed arms.
The evening sun shone on the concrete, and the long shadows stretched across the ground.
From inside the stadium came the squeaking of sneakers and some guys' shouts.
As I got closer, the blond boy unfolded his arms and straightened up, his face softening slightly.
"I need to talk to you about something."
I took a deep breath, ready to face whatever came next.
"I'm Brooklyn Hayes," I said, extending my hand.
He took my hand in a firm shake, his blue eyes shining with sincerity.
"I'm Liam Reed. I just transferred here."
I let go of his hand, my mind whirling.
Transferred?
I didn't know any new students joining our school.
"Oh, welcome to our university. I've never seen you before."
Liam chuckled, a dimple appearing on his cheek.
"Well, that's not exactly true. I've seen you before, Brooklyn. You're in my literature class. You always sit in the front row and take detailed notes during class."
My cheeks flushed slightly.
"I didn't notice you in class."
Liam's smile widened.
"That's because you're always so focused on the lecture. But I've been paying attention to you for a while now, and I have to admit that you're quite interesting."
His words left me speechless.
Interesting?
What did he mean by that?
I glanced toward the stadium door, feeling a little uncomfortable about Jake waiting inside for me.
Jake wasn't one to wait around for anyone, and I knew he'd be getting impatient by the minute.
But something about Liam's words had me rooted to the spot, unable to move forward.
Liam took another step closer, his cologne mingling with the evening air.
"I wanted to ask if you would like to get coffee or something sometime," he continued.
"Just as friends." I opened my mouth to respond, but before any words could come out, I heard footsteps approaching from inside the stadium.
Familiar cleats clicking against concrete—Jake's cleats.
My stomach tightened at the sound, knowing that Jake had probably gotten tired of waiting and come looking for me.
I turned to face the stadium, caught between two worlds.
I took a step back from Liam, creating some distance between us as Jake's cleats grew louder.
My fingers fidgeted with the hem of my shirt, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Coffee sounds nice, but I'll have to get back to you later."
Liam's green eyes remained fixed on mine, his voice smooth and low.
"As friends only, Brooklyn. Maybe after literature class next week?"
I nodded, my heart pounding in my chest.
"Sure. I'll see you then."
Jake appeared beside me, his arm sliding possessively around my waist.
"Ready to go?"
I glanced at him, his brown eyes searching mine for something.
"Ready," I replied softly.
Jake's gaze flickered toward Liam, his jaw clenched slightly.
"What were you two discussing?"
Before I could answer, Liam spoke up with a charming smile.
"Just about our literature class, Jake. Brooklyn and I are in the same class together. We were talking about the upcoming group project." Jake's grip on my waist tightened slightly at Liam's words, but he didn't say anything else.
Instead, he turned and led me away from Liam, leaving the blond boy standing alone outside the stadium door.
As we walked, I could feel Jake's eyes on me, searching for something in my expression.
I knew he was wondering if there was more to Liam's words than what I had let on.
But I didn't want to talk about it right now.
I needed time to process everything myself before getting into a conversation with Jake about it.
We walked in silence until we reached the court entrance.
Jake stopped and turned to me, his brown eyes burning with intensity.
"Brooklyn," he said, his voice low and serious.
"I need to know what's going on with you and this guy."
I took a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts before responding.
"He just transferred here," I said slowly. "He asked if we could get coffee sometime."
Jake's jaw clenched again, his grip on my waist tightening even further.
"As friends?" he asked sharply.
I nodded, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside me.
"Yes."
Jake stared at me for a moment longer before releasing his grip on my waist and turning away.
"I need to go practice."
With that, he walked away from me, leaving me standing alone outside the court entrance.
