I stared at the bottle in my hand, the label reading "Dragon's Breath".
I had found it on a dusty shelf in the storage room, hidden behind a stack of old boxes.
The glass was old and dirty, but the cork stopper was still intact.
I wondered what it could be, and what it was used for.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I carefully removed the cork.
The smell of alcohol mixed with something else wafted up, pungent and slightly spicy.
I hesitated for a moment before bringing the bottle to my lips and tipping it back.
The liquid burned my throat as I swallowed, and I could feel it slide all the way down into my stomach.
I waited, unsure of what to expect.
At first, there was nothing, and then I started to feel a heat spread from my center, moving outward.
It began in my stomach, then up through my chest and throat, finally reaching my face.
The heat was intense, like a fire had been lit inside of me.
I could feel beads of sweat forming on my forehead as I tried to breathe through the sensation.
Suddenly, I felt myself expanding, growing bigger and rounder.
My body began to shift and change, and I felt my bones moving and reforming.
The Dragon's Bride
I stumbled backward, knocking over a stack of boxes as I went.
My back hit the wall of the storage room, and I felt my chest begin to strain against the bodice of my dress.
The fabric creaked and groaned under the growing pressure, and I could feel my breasts swelling and expanding.
My hands gripped the rough stone wall behind me, searching for something to hold onto as the heat continued to build inside of me.
It was like nothing I had ever felt before, and I couldn't help but cry out in shock and confusion.
But my voice was hoarse and strained, and all that came out was a strangled gasp.
I could feel my hips widening, my thighs growing thicker and rounder.
My skirts pulled tight around me, straining at the seams.
I could hear the sound of fabric tearing as my undergarments began to give way beneath my expanding flesh.
The heat continued to build, spreading through my body like wildfire.
The Dragon's Bride
I could feel it pulsing through my veins, burning away everything in its path.
My skin felt tight and stretched, like it was going to burst at any moment. I tried to call out for Henry, but all that came out was a low moan.
My body was changing so fast, growing bigger and bigger with each passing second.
I could feel my bones shifting and reforming, my muscles stretching and expanding to accommodate my new size.
My dress ripped apart at the seams, leaving me standing there in nothing but my undergarments.
They were stretched so tight that they were almost see-through, and I knew they wouldn't last much longer.
I was still trying to wrap my mind around what was happening when I heard footsteps coming from the hallway outside of the storage room.
They were light and cautious, like whoever it was didn't want to be heard.
I tried to move towards the door, but it was too late.
The door opened before I could reach it, revealing a tall figure silhouetted against the light from the hallway. My body continued to grow and expand as I stood there, pinned against the wall by my own size.
I reached out for the door handle, desperate to escape from this strange and terrifying transformation that had taken hold of me.
But my fingers only brushed against it as they passed by, unable to get a grip on anything as they slid down towards the floor.
"Elena, what have you done?" the figure gasped, stepping into the room and closing the door behind them.
"I-I don't know, Henry," I stammered, my voice trembling as I struggled to maintain my balance.
"That's Dragon's Breath!" he exclaimed, eyes wide with a mix of awe and fear. "It's meant to awaken the dragon within!"
The Dragon's Bride
I sat on the floor, my body still expanding and shifting as Henry examined the bottle in his hand.
His eyes were wide with recognition, and I could see the fear in them as he looked at me.
I felt a strange tingling sensation spreading across my skin, like pins and needles but all over my body.
It made me shiver, even though I was still feeling the heat from the Dragon's Breath coursing through my veins.
As my body continued to grow and change, I found it harder and harder to stand up.
My limbs were trembling with the effort, and I could feel my muscles straining against the weight of my expanding flesh.
Henry came over to me and helped me to my feet, holding onto me as I wobbled unsteadily.
My dress was in tatters, barely clinging to my body as I moved towards the door.
Each step felt like a battle, as if my legs were made of lead and my body was weighed down by a heavy burden.
Henry held onto me tightly, trying to keep me upright as we slowly made our way out into the hallway.
I could hear the sound of footsteps coming from the other end of the corridor, growing louder with each passing second.
It was Graham, his voice calling out to us as he ran towards us.
"Elena! Henry! What's going on?"
Graham's voice echoed down the hallway, filled with concern and urgency.
The Dragon's Bride
He rounded the corner just as we reached the door, his eyes widening in shock when he saw me.
His usual playful smile was gone, replaced by a look of pure amazement. "By the gods," he breathed, his eyes traveling up and down my body.
"What has happened to you?"
I tried to respond, but all that came out was a low rumble deep in my chest.
It sounded like thunder, vibrating through my entire body.
The Dragon's Bride
I could feel it building inside of me, growing stronger with each passing moment.
Graham stepped forward and offered me his shoulder to lean on, helping Henry support my weight as we made our way towards the exit.
The transformation continued to intensify, my skin shimmering with scales that glittered in the light.
I could feel them forming under my skin, pushing their way through the surface like tiny little mountains rising up from the earth.
