I was once a male dragon rider on the planet Andromeda3.
I had been riding dragons for twenty years.
I knew every dragon breed and could ride any dragon.
That was why I had been chosen to be the first rider to fly across the galaxy.
My destination was the planet Andromeda5, but halfway there, something strange happened.
The sky turned dark, and a bolt of lightning struck my dragon.
The world went black, and when I came to, I was lying on a forest floor with no sign of my dragon anywhere.
As I stood up and tried to remember what had happened, I felt something was different.
My body began to tingle, and when the tingling stopped, I looked down and saw that I had been transformed into a woman.
I had been wearing my usual flight suit, but now it was torn and stretched to fit my new body.
My boots were still on my feet, but my dragon was nowhere to be seen.
Confused and disoriented, I walked through the forest trying to make sense of what had happened to me.
Suddenly, I heard a rustling in the bushes and out came a massive erection.
I froze in fear as a huge red dragon emerged from behind the bushes.
He was covered in scars and had one wing missing.
The Dragon Rider's Transformation
Drawing on my years of dragon-riding experience, I analyzed the dragon's posture and movements.
His head swayed from side to side, a classic sign of territorial behavior.
I slowly reached for my belt, relieved to find that my dragon-calming herbs were still attached.
The dragon's nostrils flared as he caught the scent, but he remained in his aggressive stance.
I took careful steps backward, keeping my eyes locked on his while reaching out with my palm facing up—a universal gesture of peace among dragons.
The Dragon Rider's Transformation
The red beast growled, inching closer.
The dragon's hot breath washes over me as I hold my trembling palm steady, the herbs crushed in my sweaty grip.
My new body feels wrong—smaller, lighter, more vulnerable against this massive predator.
The flight suit stretches uncomfortably across my chest as I take slow steps backward.
The dragon matches each retreat, his one good wing flaring wide.
My back hits a tree trunk.
The rough bark catches on my torn suit as I slide down into a crouch.
The dragon's growl deepens, and I notice something in his scarred face—a flicker of pain, confusion, the same lost feeling churning in my gut.
"Why do you hesitate, human?" the dragon rumbled, his voice surprisingly gentle despite his fierce appearance.
"I... I don't know," I stammered, feeling the weight of my transformation and the dragon's gaze.
"You are not what you seem," he continued, lowering his head slightly, "and neither am I."
