I can teleport.
Not just anywhere, but to different dimensions.
It happened by accident.
I was in a lab.
I’d been given a shot and suddenly I was somewhere else.
It was like a dream, but real.
I was standing in a forest, on a mountain. The trees were taller than any I’d seen before and the air was crisp and clean.
There was no one around.
I could hear birds and see them flying through the trees.
I reached down and touched the ground, feeling the rough bark and the cool earth.
It was real.
I jumped back to where I’d come from without thinking.
I didn’t know how I’d done it, but I knew I had to get back to the lab.
That’s how it started.
I began teleporting at will, exploring different dimensions.
It wasn’t without its challenges.
There were times when I had to fight for my life, or navigate through unfamiliar territories.
There were also times when I encountered creatures that didn’t seem to exist in my world.
Despite the dangers, I continued to explore, driven by a desire to understand the universe and my place in it.
I worked with scientists to study my powers and develop ways to control them.
One scientist in particular, Sarah Jennings, became crucial to my leaps.
The Dimension Leaper
I stood on a metal platform in Sarah’s lab, surrounded by a variety of monitoring equipment.
She worked at a console, calibrating her instruments.
The familiar coordinates of the forest I’d chosen for my next jump flashed on her holographic display.
Mark, her assistant, double-checked the protective gear I wore: reinforced boots, thermal jacket, emergency beacon.
I adjusted the dimensional compass strapped to my wrist, its needle quivering as it locked onto the specific signature of the dimension I was about to enter.
"Ready when you are, Leo," Sarah’s voice crackled through my earpiece.
I closed my eyes and focused on that unique signature.
The air around me began to vibrate, like the hum of a thousand distant engines.
My skin tingled with the building energy.

"Final readings," Sarah called out, her voice steady despite the tension.
Mark tightened the last strap on my protective vest, his usual jokes absent as he focused on the equipment check.
The lab’s fluorescent lights flickered slightly, a common occurrence during my pre-jump phase.
I closed my eyes and visualized the forest: the pattern of light through ancient trees, the specific density of the air, the subtle magnetic variations I’d learned to recognize.
The tingling intensified, starting in my chest and spreading to my limbs.
My skin prickled as reality began to shift around me.
The lab’s sterile scent gave way to hints of pine and moss.
