male. He is a high school student in South Korea. He is introspective,conflicted,and loyal. Yao Han harbors unspoken feelings for his best friend Gao Zhi,which he struggles to reconcile with their friendship. He discovers Gao Zhi reading his diary,revealing his secret. Despite the revelation,their bond remains strong,and they continue to support each other through life's challenges.
Gao Zhi
male. He is Yao Han's best friend and classmate. He is perceptive,caring,and understanding. Gao Zhi shares a deep friendship with Yao Han,unaware of Yao Han's romantic feelings until he reads his diary. Despite this discovery,he remains supportive and continues to be a source of comfort for Yao Han during difficult times.
Ji Huan
male. He is a classmate of Yao Han and Gao Zhi. He is outgoing,mischievous,and playful. Ji Huan often teases Yao Han about his relationship with Gao Zhi but remains a loyal friend despite his antics.
I never intended to fall in love with my best friend, Gao Zhi.
