My name is Aniya, the Elven Princess of Eldora.
You can tell by my silver hair and my gold eyes.
Eldora is the kingdom of the Elves, while Cloden is the kingdom of the Demons.
An arrangement was made between the two kingdoms about me marrying their Demon Prince, Clark Knight.
The marriage was to be an alliance between our kingdoms for peace.
I never wanted to marry him at first, but I was forced to by my parents.
I vowed in my heart to find out the real reason behind our marriage and the alliance.
No one was willing to tell me the reason, so I had to find out myself.
I was ready to embark on a journey to find out the reason and protect my kingdom at all costs.
"I'm not ready to marry yet," I told Eira, my sister and future Queen of Eldora.
She smiled at me kindly as she helped me pack my things into a luggage.
"You'll be fine, dear sister," she said.
"Marriage is not a bad thing. Once you get there and start your journey, you'll find out that you'll love it. You'll love your new life and your husband."
"I still don't want to," I whined.
"Sigh…"
Then she hugged me.

"I know, dear. But you have to do this. It's for the peace of our kingdom."
I sighed.
I knew I had to do this, but I still didn't want to.
I sat at my mahogany desk in my chamber, quill in hand, staring at the blank parchment in front of me.
I was trying to draft a letter to the Demon Prince, but it was proving difficult.
The first two attempts were now crumpled on the floor, ink blotches all over them.
The sun was setting through my window, casting a blood-red glow over the chamber.
A fitting omen for writing a letter to a demon prince.
Finally, I began to write.
I asked him directly why he wanted to marry me and what his reasons were for wanting an alliance with Eldora.
I sealed it with Eldora's royal crest and was about to call a servant to deliver it when there was a knock on my door.
"Come in," I called out.
The Demon Prince's Bride
The door opened and Lysander walked in.
He was one of my father's most trusted guards as well as my and Eiras older brother and would be leading the group escorting me to Cloden.
The Demon Prince's Bride
He strode in without knocking, his eyes immediately on the letter in my hand.
I tried to slip it under a stack of papers, but he was too quick.
He snatched it from my fingers and turned it over in his hand, examining the royal seal.
Eira sat up from her lounging position on my bed.
"Writing love letters already, sister?" he teased, holding the letter just out of my reach as I stood to take it back.
"Give it back," I told him, trying to grab it.
He danced out of the way, grinning at me.
The Demon Prince's Bride
"Come and get it," he said, holding it out in his outstretched hand.
I snatched it from him, my face burning with anger.
The parchment crinkled in my tight grip as I glared at him.
He leaned against the wall of my chamber, that infuriating smirk still plastered on his face.
Eira rose from the bed, placing a gentle hand on my shoulder.
I shrugged it off, stuffing the letter into a desk drawer and slamming the wooden thing shut with more force than I intended.
The inkwell rattled on my desk.
Lysander's grin softened slightly at my anger.
"Alright, alright, no more teasing," he said, raising his hands in mock surrender.
"But you should know something important before you leave," he continued, his tone suddenly serious.
"The alliance isn't just about peace—there's a prophecy tied to your union with Clark."
