Ethan
I have a wife who is pregnant, sweet, and loving.
However, she was cursed to never give birth.
We live in a cozy house.
Lily is my pregnant wife, and she is also the only person I love the most.
She is pregnant and sweet, loving me from the bottom of her heart.
She is also the one who made my life beautiful, lovely, and charming.
I love her a lot.
Then how can I leave her?
No way.
I love her a lot, more than my life.
She needs more care because she is pregnant, and I am also taking a good care of her and our unborn child as well.
She is two months pregnant.
Her pregnancy is going normal till now, but I know that one day or another day the problem will come because she was cursed to never give birth.
Then what should we do?
We are also worried about her concerning the future; after two months, a big problem came to us.
The Curse of the Unborn
I sat with Lily on our worn leather couch, her hands protectively cradling her growing belly.
The evening light filtered through the curtains of our cozy living room, casting a warm glow over us.
I had been putting off this conversation for too long, but I finally gathered the courage to broach the subject that had been weighing heavily on my mind.
"Lily, I need to talk to you about something," I said gently, reaching for her hand.
She looked at me with concern in her eyes, but she didn't say anything.
Instead, she waited for me to continue.
"I know we've been trying to stay positive about your pregnancy, but I can't shake the feeling that something is going to go wrong," I confessed.
"It's not just the curse; it's the pregnancy itself. You're going to be 40 weeks soon, and we still don't know how it's going to end. What if something happens during delivery? What if the baby isn't okay?"
Lily's eyes filled with tears as she listened to my fears.
She squeezed my hand tightly, trying to reassure me that everything would be okay.
The Curse of the Unborn
But I knew better than anyone that there were no guarantees in life. "I've been doing some research," I continued, pulling out a stack of papers from my bag.
"I found an old woman who might be able to help us. She lives on the outskirts of town and has a reputation for being able to make curses bearable
Lily's eyes widened as she took the papers from me and began to flip through them.
They were filled with drawings of different herbs and ritual descriptions that might be used to make the pregnancy comfortable for its duration.
There were also notes on possible origins of the curse and how it might be tied to Lily's family history.
"I've also been looking into ancient remedies," Lily said softly, her voice filled with determination.
"I'm not giving up hope that we can find a way to make this work."
I smiled at her bravery and pulled her into my arms.
"I know we can do this," I said, holding her close.
"We just have to keep looking and never give up."
As we hugged, Lily pulled back and looked at me with a serious expression on her face.
"Ethan, there's something else I need to tell you," she said gently.
"What is it?"
I asked, feeling a sense of trepidation wash over me.
"I've been having these visions," she said slowly.
The Curse of the Unborn
"Visions of what?"
I asked, my heart pounding in my chest.
"Visions of our child, Ethan, and they're not what we expected."
Lily pulled a small notebook out of her purse and handed it to me.
I opened it and began to read the passages she had written, detailing the visions she had been having.
They were vivid and detailed, describing a future where our unborn child was strong and healthy, but also powerful in a way that I couldn't understand.
As I finished reading, Lily leaned forward and placed her hands gently on her belly.
"I think this baby is going to be special," she said softly.
"And I think that's why we're going through this. We're being tested."
I nodded, trying to understand what she was telling me.
"I believe you," I said, looking into her eyes.
"And we'll face whatever comes next together."
Lily smiled at me, and I could see the fear and uncertainty in her eyes begin to fade away.
The Curse of the Unborn
We knew that we still had a long road ahead of us, but for now, we were okay.
And that was all that mattered.
The sun had just begun to rise over the horizon as Lily sat at the kitchen table with her journal open before her.
Her feet were swollen and tired from another restless night's sleep, so she'd propped them up on a nearby chair, resting them in my lap as I sat beside her.
She gently rubbed her belly, feeling the weight of their growing child inside.
It had grown so much larger than it should have at just two months along. Lily had been having visions since she found out she was pregnant, visions of things that would come to pass in the future.
They had started as simple dreams of her life with me and our growing family, but they grew stronger as time went by until she could see things happening in real-time as if she were there herself.
At first, she'd thought they were just strange coincidences, but as more and more of them came true, she realized that something deeper was at work inside of her.
I took out my measuring tape from my pocket and wrapped it around Lily's waist.
She looked down at it curiously as I made a mark on the side of the paper with a pencil where the end met her skin.
I pulled it tighter around her belly then and made another mark on the paper.
After unwrapping it from around my wife, I held the paper up so we both could see how far along she was by comparing its length to the marks I'd made on the side of the page last week when I'd measured it before.
"Ethan, it's grown more than we expected," Lily said, her voice tinged with both awe and concern.
"Do you think it has something to do with the visions?" I asked, my mind racing with possibilities.
Lily nodded slowly, her eyes meeting mine. "I think our child is growing faster because of the power it holds within."
