My name is Princess Lemon.
I live in a beautiful kingdom with my father, mother, and many of our servants.
I love my life here, but I love adventure more.
I dream of leaving the kingdom one day and exploring the world on the other side of our great walls.
But there is one problem stopping me from doing this…
A curse.
A curse that has been placed upon my family.
A curse that has forced my father, King Alaric, to forbid me from ever leaving the kingdom.
The only way we are kept safe from this curse is by being inside the kingdom walls.
If we are inside the walls, we are safe and free from the curse.
Outside the walls…
outside the walls is a different story.
Outside the walls we are at risk to the curse at any moment.
This has made my father extremely protective of me, and I don't blame him for this.
I understand his decision even though I don't like it very much.
But I still dream of adventure and exploration.
I dream of finding a way to lift this curse upon my family.
"Your Highness," one of our servants called, stopping me in my tracks.
"Yes," I replied in my usual compassionate tone.
The Curse of The Kingdom
"I have come to tell you that the sun is setting. It will be dark soon."
I looked out the window and saw the sun dipping below the horizon.
It was a beautiful sight, but I knew I had to get moving.
I couldn't waste any more time.
"Thank you," I said, turning back to my room.
I walked over to my closet and pulled out a cloak.
I put it on, making sure it was securely fastened around me.
Then I made my way down the stairs and out of the castle.
I walked quietly, trying not to make a sound as I made my way towards the castle gates.
I knew Sir Edward would be there, watching over everyone in the kingdom.
He was always on guard and never let his attention waver.
"Princess," he called out when he saw me approaching.
The Curse of The Kingdom
"Where are you going?"
I stopped in front of him and smiled sweetly.
"Just for a walk," I replied innocently.
Sir Edward narrowed his eyes at me, but he didn't say anything else.
He knew better than to question me too much.
He just nodded and stepped aside, allowing me to pass. I walked through the gardens, taking in all of the sights and sounds around me.
The flowers were blooming beautifully, and the trees were swaying gently in the breeze.
But even though I enjoyed these things, my mind was elsewhere.
My mind was on what lay beyond our walls.
I could see them towering above me as I walked, their stone peaks reaching up towards the sky.
They were so big and imposing, and they made me feel small compared to them.
But I wasn't afraid of them; no, I was drawn to them instead.
I wanted nothing more than to explore what lay beyond them, even if it meant risking everything for it.
As I got closer to the boundary of our kingdom's protection, my heart began to race with excitement and anticipation.
I could feel myself getting closer and closer with each step that I took, and soon enough I would be right there at the edge of our safety net. But then I heard Sir Edward's voice behind me, calling out for me to stop.
"Princess," he said urgently, "we shouldn't go any further."
I turned around to look at him, but I didn't stop moving forward.
Instead, I kept going until I reached the edge of our kingdom's protection spell.
It was a magical barrier that protected us from harm, but it also kept us trapped inside as well.
The Curse of The Kingdom
I stood there for a moment, looking at the shimmering boundary in front of me.
I could feel its energy pulsating beneath my fingertips as I reached out to touch it.
Sir Edward's voice was still calling out to me from behind, but I didn't turn around.
I was too focused on the magical barrier in front of me.
Suddenly, a gentle breeze began to swirl around me.
It lifted my cloak and blew through my hair, and I felt myself being lifted off the ground.
I gasped in surprise as I felt myself being lifted higher and higher, until I was floating in mid-air.
The world below me became a blur, and I could see the kingdom's walls growing smaller and smaller in the distance.
But then, something else caught my eye.
A forest had appeared before me, and it was teeming with life.
There were animals running through the trees, and they seemed to be talking to each other.
The plants were glowing with a soft light, and they seemed to be watching me as well. I landed softly on the ground in front of them, and they all turned to look at me.
The Curse of The Kingdom
Their eyes were wide with curiosity as they watched me, and I felt like I was in a whole new world.
I looked around at all of the sights and sounds, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
It was like nothing I had ever experienced before, and it was truly amazing.
"Princess!"
Sir Edward's voice called out from behind me again, but this time he sounded even more urgent.
I turned around to look at him, but he was still standing on the other side of the magical barrier.
He looked like he was trying to reach out to me, but he couldn't get through.
"Princess!" he shouted again, but this time his voice was even more desperate.
I knew that he wanted me to come back to the safety of our kingdom's protection spell, but I wasn't ready to go yet.
