Emily Carter
female. She is the new secretary hired by Sebastian Winston at the Winston Group. She is ambitious,determined,and cunning. Emily sees her new job as an opportunity to climb the corporate ladder and secure a better life for herself and her family. She is drawn to Sebastian's power and wealth but unaware of his true intentions. Despite her innocence,she is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals.
Lucas Brooks
male. He is Sebastian's trusted assistant at the Winston Group. He is loyal,efficient,and discreet. Lucas has been working with Sebastian for years and knows his boss's ways well. He assists Sebastian in various tasks,including handling matters related to Emily's employment and personal life. Lucas remains professional despite being aware of Sebastian's manipulative nature.
I stared at the resume in front of me, my eyes scanning the beautiful woman's photo.
Emily Carter was her name, and soon to be my new secretary.
She was gorgeous, brilliant, and willing to do whatever it took to get ahead.
I liked that about her already.
As the CEO of the most influential company in the world, the Winston Group, I had my eyes on many prizes.
Emily would soon become one of them if she was willing to do exactly as I told her.
Otherwise, she was of no use to me.
"Mr. Brooks?"
I called my middleman, Lucas Brooks, into my office.
He rushed over and I handed him Emily's resume.
"Get this girl in here for an interview," I told him.
I didn't need to see her previous experience.
There was something about this woman that piqued my interest and pushed me to know more about her.
Lucas nodded and took the papers from me.
"Yes, Mr. Winston."
He turned to leave but I stopped him.
"Tell her 10 am tomorrow," I informed him.
"I’ll make sure she’s there," Lucas said before leaving my office.
I leaned back in my chair, staring at Emily’s photo once again.
Something told me that this woman would be very useful to me and my company if I played my cards right.
The next day, 10 am sharp, Emily walked into my office.
